Switzer won because they still had Johnson’s players I always root for them to win, but I also let you know why they didn’t win, if they happen to lose I will predict if the defense doesn’t improve soon they may not win more than 6 games this season And by the way you are the one that said you were glad they lost. It appears to me that you don’t think they can win

Tell me how they are going to beat Washington with that defense? They had 1 bad game That is comical I have seen all 6 games and 5 have been bad The only decent game I have seen was the 0-5 Jets game I would give all the credit to Jimmy Johnson on those 3 SB rings

Probably the worst secondary in the NFL and LB’ers are also probably the worst in the NFL and the DL can’t put any pressure on the QB and obviously can’t stop the run It’s very hard to win when you can’t play defense Jones doesn’t care about winning, all he cares about is making money

Lake Creek about 50-14. Splendora’s defense is the only defense in the district worse than Nederland’s. I would fire the secondary coach or coaches the 1st day after the season is over

Well the Bulldogs unfortunately will wind up 3-7 this year. Hopefully next year will be much better. There is no one left on the schedule that they can beat. Thank goodness Splendora’s defense is worse. 1-6 in district this season. They must learn how to play defense or the same result will happen next year

So they averaged giving up 19 points a game in 2017, 22 points a game in 2018, and 23 points a game in 2020 I would say the points allowed per game those 3 seasons were nothing to write home about. Good seasons, but not very good defense. IMO you have a good defensive team if you average giving up 14 or less

Yes the Cardinals are playing good football now. Probably the best they have played in many years. AggiesAreWe is correct in saying coaching staff is doing a good job. They have a chance to win the conference if they keep improving

Dallas offense is playing well, however the defense is the worst in the NFL. Still gave up a bunch of points vs the 0-5 Jets. Just don’t them holding good teams to less than 30. LB’ers and secondary are extremely weak vs the pass

If Nederland’s defense plays like they did vs Dayton and Nederland’s QB and RB are still hurt I look for West Fork to win. If the QB and RB are ok it is going to be close. As of today Nederland’s defense is about as bad as you can get

Delbert must have still been there in Barrows 1st 2 seasons because since he retired they have been awful

I will say that Coach Rich and the staff have the Dogs playing hard and not giving up. We saw 2 nice offenses and 2 of the worst defenses in district. Looks like the Dogs are going to have a tough road to make the playoffs this season. Hopefully they can beat West Fork and Lake Creek and come in 5th. I would like to believe they could upset Huntsville or Montgomery or both, however after seeing their defense tonight I just don’t think it is going to happen

I thought after the Lumberton and WOS games that Big Ned’s defense was going to be good. Boy I missed that one badly, they are absolutely horrible poor tackling making Dayton’s RB look like an all American He is good, but not that good

I live in the now and they did not play well enough this season Call me a less than average fan, that is fine and I will call myself a realistic fan

Who is going to the playoffs Houston or Detroit Can you say Detroit so you have to give them the advantage Does not appear that your math is very good , but hey your a great stat man and an excellent excuse maker on injuries and so yes they are 7 of 15 which again is average

How do you figure only 4 teams had a better record You had 3 divisional champions with better records and 3 wild cards with a better record. That my friend appears to be 6. They were 7 out of 15 in the AL. That my friend is average They are not in the NL so just forget about counting that They have been very good the past several years, just not this year

I simply will have to disagree with you Sousa and Garcia. Just not that good IMO. The other 4 were tough injuries, although Alvarez stays hurt. He has been injured a bunch the past 2 seasons. They need to find the cause of his physical problems

You are correct, they had a lot of injuries, but not at the same time and the players you just mentioned were just not that good. Brown, Hader, Abreu yes, the others you mentioned Sousa, Walter, Garcia no. Dezenzo no. Those guys were average I don’t care what stat you give - they were average

Excellent list of season injuries AggiesAreWe IMO Arrighetti and Hader highly missed, the others average pitchers at best Paredes, Pena, Meyers, and Alvarez highly missed, the others average at best They finished 7 of 15 AL teams, middle of the pack, I think I would call that average Now I know you can’t wait to call this negative, however that is honest facts of the season
