They would possibly be state ranked if they would have beat Silsbee and remember they have 2 very tough teams left. Huntsville that is now in a must win to make the playoffs and Montgomery that is 4-1 in district Nederland simply needs to keep improving each week. Huntsville has the best defensive team in the district. Brenham beat them by 4, PNG beat them by 3, and LC beat them by 5 These last 2 district opponents are very good, so simply continue to improve

I don’t know if play calling sucked or Nederland played out data ding defense minus the secondary. I look for PNG to play very well next week and Nederland better because Huntsville is going to after Lake Creek beat them. Their 3 losses have been very close games

What a win for the Bulldogs Coach Rich and staff have the Bulldogs improving each week. Two outstanding teams. I look for PNG to come back just like the last 2 years after losses to PAM. The Dogs still have 2 very tough teams to play and PNG has 1

BC is much improved and Smalley is one of the top coaches in the area Lumberton is young and back to the friendly Raider days and by the way has the coach that left after the talent was gone have a win at Palestine. NO

I think the turning point was after the Silsbee game when they got kicked around. I think coach Rich and staff had a heart to heart during the bye week and the Bulldogs are continuing to improve. Tonight’s defensive game plan was very good and Thomas is outstanding plus Sunday is getting a lot better passing the ball and some receivers are starting to show up

It will be WOS and HF for the championship the last game

What a game by the Bulldogs It could have been by a couple of TD’s except for mistakes. A holding penalty on a big TD run, a wide open dropped pass that would have been a TD. I sure was glad to see #19 kick that FG after another dropped snap punting. I feel for him that’s basically 28 points he has given up in 3 games while punting. I guess he really gets nervous. I was glad I missed this prediction. Congrats to all the players and coaching staff. If they can beat Montgomery they will get the 3 seed. I hope I am wrong but I just don’t see them beating PNG and Huntsville. Great game Nederland

Very good 1st half for the Bulldogs except for the TD pass on 4th and 8. Hopefully they keep it up the 2nd half. I would certainly be ready for an onside kick

I like the 5-1 start and they have improved a lot from the past 3 plus years, but I have to agree that they have played a weak schedule Dayton, Lumberton, Splendora, and West Fork a very weak this year. Silsbee scores 37 on them and is having a down year and will probably come in 4th in district. WOS has improved this season, but not appear to be anything to write home about Coach Rich and staff have done a good job and he was not responsible for the weak non-district schedule They simply do not have the talent to beat these last 4 teams although I would love for them to make the playoffs I would have more confidence in them if they had a good passing game and if the kicking game was better and they had a much stronger secondary, although I am hoping for the best

The Cowboys will not make the playoffs this year. If you watched the Detroit game there was very little effort by the Cowboys Diggs is supposed to be their fantastic secondary player. He not only does not cover anyone, he will not tackle anyone. IMO the OL, secondary, and LB’ers are possibly the worst in the NFL. Prescott and Lamb are not very good either but they are making a lot of money

Going to be tough. I just don’t think Nederland’s defense can stop Lake Creek and if they slow Thomas down it could doom the Bulldogs due to a weak passing game

Nice win for the Bulldogs 5-1 and 3-0. Coach Rich and staff have players improving They are going to have a very difficult time vs the last 4 opponents due to these areas that must be cleaned up way way too many penalties especially personal fouls. Kickoff team and punting teams are probably the weakest areas on the team. Defensive secondary and LB’ers are struggling (no way should you have given up 28 to WF) The offense is getting better, and must continue to improve in passing game Hoping they can improve in all areas and make the playoffs. Just 1 more win could get them in. Go Nederland

Too many unsportsmanlike penalties on Nederland and the punter has cost them at least 21 points this season. I guess he has not been coached on how to catch a football. I feel for him

I don’t think coaching is the problem Vidor football teams have always played hard and honestly had a few good seasons because of their hard work. Realistically in the history of Vidor pirate football you can probably count on one hand where they had much talent. Year in and year out they are not very talented. In fact most years they are overachievers due to their hard work

Have not seen them, however BH is coached and their players play much harder than PAM. I do think PAM still comes in 4th and makes the playoffs. GB, BH, and Lufkin will all be better

BH over always overrated PAM. Probably at least 3 TD favorite

Another good win for the Bulldogs Appears that the passing game is improving and the defensive front played pretty well tonight. The secondary is still a weak spot. I guess they just don’t have much talent in the secondary. The completion by Dayton down 27-10 was just poor coverage. I did think that Thomas had a TD on the fumble call and the interference call on Tezeno was a Homer call. He didn’t even touch the reciever. I was not pleased with the cheap shots toward the end of the game. I was hoping the new coaching staff would have put an end to that although I know a major part was on Dayton next week West Fork. Continue to keep improving Dogds
