There’s so much growth in that area what was it 12-15 brand new neighborhoods getting built over there. I don’t see an issue with Crosby getting a jump now on wanting to build a new elementary and middle school to accommodate those kids. In reality kudos to them for thinking ahead…
 

When do we find out if Bridge City has to forfeit games?

When the decision was made to build GCM, GCCISD should have combined schools into one Baytown high school. 
 
Politics and Barbara Sultis (Superintendent) would not let that happen. 

Remind me again why Baytown has a 3rd HS?

BH wins because of more overall volleyball talented\skilled starters, more quality depth, more exp. vs better competition pre-district & a more exp. coaching staff. BH is just a better athletic program from top to bottom in all sports then the GOLDEN TRIANGLE schools the last several years.

I think overall the coach at Sterling is a good dude, but this was the year where it was finally time to turn the corner and win some games, and I’m not talking about just defeating the other two Baytown schools which I don’t believe he has in recent years. Of course he gets the win against GCM. However , it’s no secret they pay him a huge salary to lead that program along with assistant coaches making more than 3A and 4A athletic directors around most areas of the state. You got a very young linebacker coach that pretends to know a lot more than he actually does, an older QB coach that has failed in getting the ranger QB to progress. He has had that player for nearly two years as a starter, and I’ve yet to see or hear the QB truly take another step, and this QB is an excellent athlete. I heard through the grapevine that several 9th grade coaches were promoted up this season when you had some varsity coaches from last year leave for another district or previous profession. One of those coaches was the d-line coach who was hands down the most knowledgeable coach on the staff. I heard that he was replaced by a 9th grade coach. You also lost one of the linebacker coaches who was the most popular coach on that staff and biggest inspirational motivator to those kids. He went back to another profession, I think he was a special agent or some fancy law officer title. His position was not filled leaving only one LB coach for this year. One LB coach in that size school..not smart.  You also lost an o-line coach who was a true o-line coach and fit the identity of that position with his gritty approach. I also think they lost some more offensive coaches. Either not filled or filled with 9th grade staff. They did replace coordinators, but that hasn’t exactly worked out. Sure they were still bad last year, no arguing that, but this year they were an older team with higher expectations, and again Toomer has failed to meet that expectation. Anything is possible. They could turn it around and get a win against Crosby or LaPorte, but that’s not likely. I sure hope they do. Pulling for it to work out for them. I hate to see a program that loses consistently every year. At some point , if it doesn’t turn around, Goose Creek may want to look towards the future of Sterling and see if they can find another overall leader. I think 6 years of losing is enough. 

I think a program that has made the playoffs every year the past 10 years, going 80-36 overall (including this season's 3-1) and 14-9 in playoffs (averaging making 2-3 round every year) with a state title appearance does not qualify as "below average".
IMO, "below average" is winning less than 50% of your games overall and only making the playoffs 2, maybe 3 times, in that 10 years span and never ever making a state title game.
I know many many coaches that would agree with me.
You may have been a coach, but I have spoken to many other coaches who disagree with your assessment of PN-G.
But like they say, everyone has their own opinion.
I do agree with you in the fact you were speaking about FB Marshall's lack of coaching more so than discrediting PN-G for the win.
BTW, that's two consecutive games PN-G has defeated FB Marshall. I don't think a "below average" program accomplishes that.

BH won 25-10, 25-18 25-18 over PNG. Program sweep for the Eagles winning the day 😀
Sterling with the nice upset in sweeping GCM 3-0. Not shocked they won but surprised at the sweep. 
 

I think the top three will stay the same with maybe a little bit of a fight between Sterling and PNG; Crosby is cooked.  All in all, it's just an extremely uncompetitive volleyball district. 
If BH gets bumped up in the next realignment, then maybe they will actually have some competition in VB because it's been YEARS since they have seen anything here.  A district record of 41-1 since 2020 pretty much speaks volumes. My guess is that by the end of this season, their record will be 51-1 in the district since the last realignment.

Meh, Crosby's talent is good enough to compete but they have substantially worse coaching than anyone else in this district (outside of Sterling/GCM). 
Old guy needs to hang it up doesn't have it anymore. 
Crosby's biggest issue is we had a coach come in and try to make players play his system instead of evaluating what system is best for the players. 
Crosby is much more talented than their record but when you're coach runs the ball up the middle 25 times in the second half while losing what are you gonna do? 
Defense looks like a shell of what it was last year as well so it's all the way around that coaching staff. 
Hope the coach retires, so we can get someone who actually wants to do the job in the building. 

Oh i definitely feel the kid has been screwed no doubt about but if #2 is hurt it’s time to shine. Pretty sure most of the last two games he has gotten ample opportunity?
 

In all fairness to 14.2, I would be frustrated as a parent too. Here is what I see, and this is only surface level. His son went from a “ featured” RB to a blocker slotted in the WR spot. He probably never lined up in the WR in his life. He is playing out of position, wonder how many other players are in the same boat. His son is a senior and had no opportunity to seek other options. He did what he could as a parent and met with the new coach and I would assume they came to an agreement to be a RB, but…… His son went from a player line up in the backfield to a slot WR. I can bet everyone on this thread would feel some kinda way too.

It’s just a perfect storm. Bad Coaching and not enough stars. Crosby only has 2 RB’s when healthy and 1 go to reciever. Trenches are not there and QB isn’t as advertised

I was an official years ago and haven’t called a game in years… but me personally if I’m the official I’m not blowing the whistle unless play of the ball was interfered with . Also kinda one of those things where I’d have to be there in that situation…also possibly could’ve blown the play dead and replayed the point 

I’m aware of the records for each team, wins and losses.  The level of competition that BH has played is vastly superior to what GCM has faced. BH’s losses are against really good, and a few exceptional, teams. Let’s be honest, GCM’s losses are just against teams. I am fully expecting BH to win in 3, hence the district will be decided on Tuesday.
