Presidents do not spend. Basic civics. All bills generating revenue (the money that gets spent) must originate in the House of Representatives. That’s a fact, not fake news (such as saying the president spent the money). 

Dang. I think the Republican Party has become totally inept at actually affective use of legislation for policy implementation. Unbelievably, they didn’t even formulate a policy platform in 2020.  If all you can do is investigate political enemies, we don’t have a Constitutional democracy, it’s some sort of bastardized institutional junta. 

Democrats have a history of investigating actions that result in criminal indictments and convictions. Republicans? Not so much. 

Criminally, the work has been from the bottom up, as is usual. Now, they’re getting closer to the top. You all keep hollering about Democrats. It’s the law now that’s working,not the politicians. Fostering insurrection is a lesser charge than conspiracy, and not as difficult to prove. Still a crime, and a conviction would invoke the 14th amendment, and the sorry sob would be disqualified from ever serving the government in any capacity again.

It is under grand jury investigation, and the current DOJ has two years minimum to complete its investigation, indict and prosecute.
Even Trump got the reds at McCarthy for not replacing Jordan and the other traitor I can’t remember his name. He could have had 4 republicans on there and chose not to. Picked up his ball and went home when he didn’t get his way.
I venture to guess, and would be willing to wager there will be indictments, and ordinary citizens like you and me will sit on a jury, hear the evidence, and convict the ex president of at least one charge.

I watched it. I came away unconvinced. 

None of Trump’s Supreme Court appointees or Trump acolyte’s husband Clarence Thomas objected to the one sentence turn down of Orange Jesus’ emergency ruling appeal concerning the top secret documents he stole and stashed at Mar-a-Lago. Now, it happens in his state  and he runs hat in hand to President Biden and Congress asking for that which he opposed 10 years ago. He couldn’t say enough good about the nonpartisan help he’s received from Biden on Tucker Carlson the other night.  Despicable, I say.  That $12,000,000 taxpayer money he spent sending asylum seekers from Texas to Massachusetts would sure buy a bunch of bottles of water for his constituents.  Looks like he could starve his constituents and not lose any votes, so long as he didn’t starve them to death. Vote Democrat!

You peoples’ deified adoration of Donald Trump is downright creepy. He could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and you’d accuse the FBI of a setup. The man is a grifter who is  sciopathically  narcissistic.  Federal judges don’t issue search warrants on  a whim. He’s already been caught smuggling documents out of the White House.  The law is the law and if you’re a suspect, you get investigated. Biden didn’t ask his FBI chief for a loyalty pledge. He understands separation of powers. You conspiracy clowns only believe in the justice system when your enemies are being investigated. When it’s your demigod under investigation, it’s heresy.
