  1. I haven't seen any biden signs. Trump signs are more proudly displayed. I think @CardinalBacker is right. I'd expect to see more anti trump signs.
  2. Uhaul should be pleased with the free publicity. But they should've used an Amazon delivery van. What's the over/under on how long til they set it on fire?
  3. I could be wrong, but they may not have bail, as we know it, in houston anymore. Sign a paper and leave?
  4. I've never understood the reason for that. This is what ranked teams in our area schedule before district. 6A #1 - North Shore at Manvel #10 - Atascocita vs Denton Guyer 5A, DII #9 - Barbers Hill OPEN #10 - Crosby OPEN 4A, DII #1 - Carthage at Pleasant Grove #3 - West Orange-Stark vs Newton #5 - Jasper vs Little Cypress-Mauriceville #10 - Center OPEN 2A, DI #5 - Joaquin vs Clarksville #9 - Timpson vs Simms Bowie 1A, DII #3 - Calvert vs Brazos Valley CHEA (Allen Academy)
  5. Just noticed Carthage was left off the list?
  6. Again an abundance of caution. But why not move the game to next friday? Tuesdays need love too I guess.
  7. Wow that's surprising. Lamarque was in the 4-6" range and Huffman was 3-5" [Hidden Content]
  8. Hence the abundance of caution. I get it. It's not a district game. Regroup next week. Praying for those infected to make a full recovery.
  9. Stand outside the fence. Don't miss one second. They'd have to arrest me to get me to leave. Imagine if reggie's parents weren't at that game 10 years ago. I pray that it's not, but it could be the last game of the season.
  10. Gonna be a long wait for pickem results now. Is this due to beta or Covid?
  11. "Due to the number of positive..." How many is it? Are they shutting down school or just football? So many questions, so little time.
  12. @biggirl imagine that. Your party leaders pledged to an inanimate object. Any thoughts about protesting against them? Or will you blindly support old man biden for the harris administration?
  13. Autocorrect gotcha. I hope you meant "masquerade"?
  14. Good question. I haven't had any interaction with them. So I'm not sure what exactly we would agree on. But I'd love to sit down and have a drink with one. Open invitation, any takers? Its gonna be hard with the bars all still closed.
  15. Inanimate object? That's one way to put it. Maybe because of what it represents, and everyone that has died to protect it. Would you rather pledge allegiance to a person or a statue?
  16. What would he have to say about the PNG Football Team? Now that he's been educated at university.
  17. Good story. I tell my friends and coworkers all the time. We may not agree on politics or religion. But we are still brothers and can always find common ground. For instance, Aggies... you know what I mean.
  18. Since we're completely off the original topic. I heard the weather channel say that over the last 10 years, forward progress after landfall has been reduced by 16%. Hmmm. I wonder why. [Hidden Content] From the article from 2011... The Bill Gates Strategy According to a 2009 article from USA Today, five patents put forward by Microsoft founder Bill Gates and colleagues included initiatives “not limited to atmospheric management, weather management, hurricane suppression, hurricane prevention, hurricane intensity modulation, hurricane deflection” to manage storms.”
  19. I had 3, but could only get to 1. Had to go thru everything to find the other 2. Also the time of the post has vanished. And some of the font colors are hard to read. Like when quoting, black text on dark grey background. Maybe it's just me and my eyes. But I feel bad for those old timers and their rose colored glasses.
  20. It's like the calm before the Beta.
  21. Helpful hint: the 3 dots up by the member name is where the edit button is now.
  22. I did my part and wore a mask last week. And so did everyone else that was in attendance. Be careful, the eyes of texas are upon you. Even you guys up there in the press box should be following the saftey guidelines, right?
  23. This game is in silsbee?
  24. Proxima Centauri is the closest star located 4.244 light-years away from the Sun. It is too faint to be seen with the naked eye. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. It is twice as far away, about 8.6 light-years away. Betelgeuse is the largest start we can see from earth. It's 10-20x the Sun and about 700 light-years away. Many people have seen it and not known. It is the top left shoulder of Orion, straight away from the three stars that form his belt.
  25. Sounds like a state issue to me, not county.
