These boys played hard and best ball I’ve seen all season. So I find it very hard to screw yourself.

It’s amazing how the Astrodome held three playoff games on Saturday with a game on Sunday.

The only point I was trying to make is that when it was the big game Jasper has been the underdog all year we were the underdog against HF we were the underdog against West Orange all I'm saying is Jasper has impressed me this year and I am very proud of my community and my team.

That ball hit the ground. That was not a catch. Horrible call call. It bounced off the ground into his hands. Back judge called it a TD when he didn’t even have view of the catch.

What gets me they pick West Orange to beat Jasper and then when Jasper beat West Orange they say West Orange is having a down year!! My thing of it is West Orange had way more returning players than Jasper and just like West Orange Jasper had a whole new coaching staff why couldn't it be Jasper was just the better team instead of y'all better watch out next year cuz West Orange is just down this year!!

They are having a good season. Make a deep playoff run… the respect will be there. 

Not just rain, but thunderstorms., which likely means lightning. Unless the forecast drastically changes, they won’t be playing this game on Friday unless it’s in the AM.

Hate to miss this game and the first round of the playoffs!!! But hopefully my Bulldogs will give me a few rounds in the playoffs!! 
All in all I'm very proud of my community and very proud of Coach C and very proud of Jasper Athletics!! The future is very bright!!!

Pulling hard for my Dogs, but I think Silsbee is in a class of their own in district this year.   Our offense will struggle.  The defense has its work cut out for it too.  Most explosive team we have played to date.  Rivalry might keep it close though.

Let me let in on something abt the one play that got us down there for Russell terkel to kick the fg.that pass wasn't intended for pup(#26)Kevin smith.pass was under thrown.tremaine Lewis couldn't step into it bcz of the pressure.it was for #29 Julian richard.i guess a lil luck is all u need sometimes.i was the opposite wr on the other side.remember it like yesterday. And I hope that ppl never forget how gud Silsbee was that year.i guarantee u if we wouldn't have won it all.silsbee or jasper would have bcz they were that gud.and the crazy thing abt it is Silsbee didn't make the playoffs that yr.they were 8-2.lost to us and jasper. Two top 5 teams in the state.goes to show u how gud the district was back then.and Silsbee and jasper probably was the 2 fastest teams in the state!! 

Agreed. That was the most physical football game I've ever seen. Most of the games we played against WOS and Silsbee were like that during that mid-80s to early-90's era. It was fun...
