OK Pirates, we're sailing the Black Pearl to nederville with the best all around backfield I've seen us have ever. Quirante, Humble, Stogner and of course Leckelt (who will break Tim Hagler's record this year) are averaging 450 yards per game and haven't punted in three weeks. Our defense is playing to 2012 form. Our cheerleaders are prettier. Our band is better. You have the talent. So, let me bring y'all back to earth: you're down 7 - 0 right now. Don't believe me? Where did you play nederville last year (hint: puppy pile stadium)? Where y'all playing this year (hint: puppy pile stadium). You're gonna have to defeat the officials, their football team and a bunch of booger eating morons barking at you from the nederville stands. Maybe sometime in the 2020's we'll get a home game against these clowns (I think we deserve two in a row like them) but for now, it's time to lace 'em up tight and hit somebody hard. I'm calling you seniors out: this is your opportunity to knock nederville out of a playoff spot and your last time to play them. We are the TRUE BLACK AND GOLD! hell first play against Nederland in Nederland Ron went 80 yards around the end for a TD running down the sidelines with his finger in the air. Don't even think he was touched by a Nederland player. He was a physical runner was not scared to make or encourage contact. He was complimented by Brian Boast also. That was a fun year!

ron mcgill was not little imo lol...i was a freshman and remember seniors talking trash on how he wasn't going to run on them HA lol...that dude was a beast!!

We had more ppl show up for the Bay High game in BMT. They can't use rain as an excuse, we're known for umbrellas. 

I can't speak for everyone but, I thought he looked great.... He throws well and accurately... He isn't lightning but I thought he moved well. And some were calling for his head? Be grateful, 3yr starters at QB are hard to come by.

Harrison  won't  impress you with his legs  are speed, but his  size  and  ability to stand in the pocket and throw  darts   over the middle  and  down the field. Not to mention his accuracy is off the  charts this  season.   Don't  sleep on him  rushing  though he's  been in the end zone running too.

Play your best players. KJ is obviously one of the nation's best corners but you also want to get the ball in his hands on offense. Angelle is the same way. He has the speed to cover on defense but he is a great receiver too.

Drew Tate. 2002. Single handedly cost them a playoff spot. Shredded our D, then there's what happened the last game Lee played Kingwood that year that sealed our season. 

I guess I can agree with you on that. I just know it's going to be a totally different ballgame lining up on Friday night against their new district foes as opposed to North Shore, Westbrook, LaPorte, Channelview, etc...but you're prolly right WOS, they could for sure be in a few close games. Coach Neumann has proven himself year in year out to be one of the best coaches in the state.

Sorry for the late update. They played the traditional type scrimmage. I got there as the first team offense was just starting. They did okay. Looked like angelle was at rb?? I know his build. They had spurts. Really like the back, nor Jones, but the kid talked about in this thread. His was mobile and patient. The defense omg. .Titan nation, I think we will be okay barring injury. I'm guessing it was the kid from Kelly was a beast. The defense got beat deep for a score due to confusion on where to line up. Offensive line needs more work, but it was Pearland lol. So far I like what I see. Like to see a little  more accuracy and distance from our kickers, but they good enough for Xtra points. No injuries from I can see.

How will the damn scrimmage go?
