Is the Silsbee scrimmage at Silsbee or Lumberton?

Is Silsbee still going to this and if so does anyone know when they play???

Definitely wish him the best, nothing but love for him. Only thing I questionable all really is risking his eligibility for his Sr. Year!

Man I would like to know who these two were!! But not surprised I heard for years there was no hitting in practice and could not understand it. You could tell on Friday nights by the missed tackles!! That along with discipline will go miles!

Evadale doesn't suck but it does stink!!!

I think the latter part is probably true and I was wondering about that first part, he does fit the size part of a tight end.

Won't be near as big a blow on the BBall court too many good players.

He will be good for Evadale but just like one player not breaking a team one player doesn't make one either. One thing that hasn't been addressed is will the district or utilize approve his eligibility.

No his Dad is not coaching football, so he will be able to see the games. Not sure how much Kolten had to do with this decision if he had any to do with it at all.

His Dad is still in Silsbee unless things have changed very recently.

What does this do to his recruitment? A small school versus a bigger school with eyes on several recruits?

No doubt it's a huge loss. You like se a big, sure handed go to receiver but if his heart wasn't in it then he needed move on. I hate it for him and his teammates. We have replacements but none have proven to be as sure handed as Kolten......yet.

After the type of injury he had, football would probably not be a good choice. Why risk his future?

That was my thought when this first started.

I had asked whether teams would be willing to play twice to fill the schedule when this all started. Granted it wouldn't be right to drop a game now or would it be a desired solution but I never got an answer.

He has been coming home some weekends but has been at Kilgore.

I know the enthusiasm and physicality of practice is supposed to be higher.
