Uh I haven't seen many games where Silsbee didn't put an underclass an on the floor and haven't seen many we lost..........

All Silsbee players played on one team in the tourney(at least the bracket part) problem is many were out for various reasons at least part of the time.

I can see that point. And yes right now I hope Baylor is one of if not the safest. But I still would not want to have my name associated with that football program for a few years!

Craig I have nothing but respect for that answer. As a father of a two year old girl, I know in that situation: 1. You almost totally will believe in your daughter and what she says, unless there are very serious reasons not too, 2.) you have to control your emotions not to physically react. And 3.) you are going to go after anyone or entity you think isn't protecting her.. I can't imagine how hard that would be and don't want to ever find out. I was there a time or two where I was close to a point of stepping between your daughter and some "hecklers" but luckily the situation was handled about the same time. For you to come back and admit that you could have handled some things better is huge in my book. now as far as my post above its more directed to those saying these students made a commitment to the school not the coach. If those students should keep their commitment to a school that has been found guilty,. Why shouldn't a school that has a athlete that has been found guilty have to stick to their commitment to them. My answer is neither should be obligated but there have been many stating that the athletes should.

From numbers I have heard on Ozen, I can't blame anyone for leaving, at least until changes can be seen.

Excellent question!! If the kids are expected to follow through with their commitment to a school found to have covered such acts shouldn't he school have to uphold their commitment to the athletes that have committed criminal acts?

I posted above that Silsbee beat Center in the finals. Didn't see much of the tourney though.

Silsbee lost a game this morning to Center without several players who were at a 7 on 7 tourney, and Bush. They played the same Center team in the finals and beat them by about 12 I believe. The Tigers have 8 players returning from the regular season team last year, they won this game without 5 of them both McCains, Newton, Mackey and Barnes as well as missing Bush.

I know the defensive line has a returnee or two but the offensive line will be all new. Have heard they will be good but nothing to go on yet.

This year the Tigers are loaded at the " skill" positions!

Didn't stay long myself. Saw most of that first game but Silsbee was missing a lot of players of course no McCains no Tre Lowe all out with injuries. Did have Mackey and Harris and Adonis Thomas, Bass and Llandon Tyler from last years playoff squad but we're missing Barnes, Tre Jones, Calvin Tyler, and Newton. They beat Lumberton by about 20. Watched most of the second game which was Silsbee vs Silsbee mostly underclassmen with a few from the first game. A fairly close game. Really neither game had much excitement.
