I carry concealed under LEOSA when I am off duty.  However, there are places I still cannot carry when signs are posted. This one has been hard to shake.  I knew him before I knew this board existed.  I enjoyed reading stevenash’s posts before I found out stevenash was Stan.  When I did it was quite a trip.  
 
He loved having discussions on a variety of subjects, politics obviously being one of his favorites.  As you all know, I probably disagreed as often as we agreed.  But I didn’t feel like he ever thought less of me when we did, and I can promise that was mutual.  One thing I appreciated (as I do with some of the others I know here - Hagar, BSW; and some I don’t know personally - LRF, baddog) is that we could disagree and keep it cordial.  We could have different opinions and still respect one another...hell even enjoy one another’s company.  It’s a shame that is becoming exceedingly rare.  
 
I will miss being reading stevenash’s posts on this site.  I will miss being able to text him when I have a question I know he will know the answer to.  But most of all I will miss that smile of his that he always seemed to wear, a smile that filled his entire face.  Continued prayers for his wife, kids, grandkids, and all of his loved ones. 

This is why I don't participate much anymore. Both sides believe they are 100% correct, and are unwilling to accept that the other is just as bad. Neither side wants us to agree on anything. Divide and conquer.
So for those here who continue to provide "trigger warnings" in hope of getting a rise out someone... just stop. If you haven't figured out, by now, some refuse to accept defeat and will not change. Just look at how they turned on @CardinalBacker after he hit bullseye about trump losing. Some things will never change.

I highly doubt it. Most republicans that didn’t care for trump still voted for him. Most realized that he was a better alternative than Biden, regardless of their dislike for him. 
My problem with the whole thing is that every single allegation was either debunked or there was no proof that it occurred. People were making up stories left and right... not only were trump supporters taking the bait, but trump himself kept buying into the theories and spreading them as well. 
 
The guy in the Buffalo hat? He had to go on social media and say “no, it was me! I was there. I’m not Antifa” because so many people were spreading lies about him.  It’s been like that since election night. 
 
The whole situation has been bizarre. There is no way for the VP to “throw out” electoral votes. His job is to count them, period. Trump and his followers believed that he not only had the power to do so, but brand him a traitor for NOT doing so.  
 
Did the founding fathers really craft an electoral college system wherein the VP of the current administration has the power to choose who the next president will be? Of course not.  But Trump himself believed otherwise and had his followers believing the same thing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen Pence labeled a traitor on my fb feed. It’s insane.

Here’s a fact... my kid was five or so when I told him there wasn’t a Santa Claus. I showed him receipts and everything. I bought that crap, and I’m taking credit.

Last night all of the talking heads on CBS, (not guests, these were their hosts) were calling for Trump to be impeached or removed from office using the 25th Amendment as he isn’t fit to lead, is a danger to the country, etc... They literally are the PR wing of the Democrat party, and they should not be.

A camera in everybody’s hand 24/7, but not a single video clip or photo taken during the most “massive fraud” in US history is what we’re supposed to believe. The mayor of Beaumont can’t even get her nails done without somebody putting it on Snapchat, yet here we are two months later with zero proof of fraud. 

There were not just Republican election workers and observers, but even Republican elected officials overseeing elections in those states... but not a single one has presented anything. But they’re all traitors and have been attacked by Trump for not just “saying they recalculated” and given the race to Trump.

Here’s one for you... do you remember all through 2016 when he was going to “lock her up?” I don’t remember her even being questioned. Do you remember how he was going to “repeal and replace” Obamacare? That didn’t happen. Do you remember how he was going to fix our trade imbalances and put America first? Our trade deficit is worse than ever. Remember that wall that Mexico was going to pay for? Where is it? I’d like to go visit.

There were an unlimited number of things he could have said and done, but he chose to talk up a special prosecutor to investigate Joe Scarborough instead. Some leader. I mean, he DID have the photo op at the church in DC... the one where he held the borrowed Bible upside down. 
When it was time to talk about his plans for 2020 and beyond, all he wanted to do was talk about his opponent’s kid.  

Think about it. Zena Stephens ran for sheriff in Jefferson County. Can you imagine if the key point she made during her campaign was to attack her opponent’s child? People would be appalled and offended-much like most people were appalled and offended by Trump’s attacks on Biden’s son.... who (like Hillary) has never been charged with anything.  
 
But explaining rationale to people with TDS (people who are delusional to the point that they believe Trump was a good President and that he was robbed of a second term) is a complete waste of time and oxygen.

They didn't vote for Biden, they voted against Trump.  Trump literally ran against himself and lost.  I've been hearing for over a year about the silent majority that was gonna rise up.   They did, and they overwhelmingly rejected Trump.  
I said before this all started that I expected to see stolen votes.... people who showed up to vote, except their vote had already been cast mail-in.  That didn't happen.  All we have is unsubstantiated report after unsubstantiated report.... with nary a single cell phone photo to verify any of it.  Not a one.  
I wonder when (or if) diehard Trump supporters will realize that he single-handedly did what Democrats have been unable to do in something like a century and a half.... He destroyed the Republican Party.  Even today he's doing everything in his power to make sure that Republicans don't win the two seats in Georgia.  If Trump had conceded last month and just shut up, I feel like you'd have Georgia Democrats lulled to sleep, and Republicans anxious to get to the polls.  Instead you have Trump insulting everybody in the state of Georgia for "costing" the election.  Pushing all of these hare-brained theories that have zero credible evidence to support them.  How many more times will we hear about the 136k votes that came in after midnight in MIchigan?  Despite the fact that this particular anomaly was explained immediately?  I guess people think if they repeat it often enough and loudly enough, it'll somehow become true.  
At this point the game is over, our team lost by 14, and six weeks after the championship game you guys are still wanting to look at kids' report cards to get the result overturned.  That's literally where we are in America right now.  
And Trump is still a clown.
