This is a very realistic possibility that people don't want to acknowledge.  Biden's presidency has gone so poorly that all the right needs to do is put out a capable candidate and they should have an easy victory in the next election.  The only way that doesn't happen is exactly how you spell it out... people still vote against trump, or just pick the new dem nominee and hope he/she's better than biden.  There's also the possibility that trump says or does something that reignites the hatred for him  before the election.  He really can't help himself.  Crapping on other republicans who might challenge him in the primaries isn't going to do him any favors, either.

Congrats!  I will bow out on December 31, 2021.  25 years 2 months Federal and 3 years S.O.

Looking at the Facebook comments are either hilarious or sad according to how you look at it. Comments such as, the officer should have tried to talk her down. In the middle of a knife swing? 
Or, she called 911 so you can’t shoot her.
I could list about 100 more examples but that is stupidity at its finest.
But I know that  people like to play the what if game. So what if it was a white female try to stab A black female? If the officer did nothing, what would the narrative be?
Here is my opinion only going to Texas law. 
1. it does not matter who called 911.
2. There is no way for the officer to know who made the call or any other circumstances such as bullying (which doesn’t justify stabbing) before his arrival.
3. Presented with these circumstances, there is simply no time for de-escalation or talking anyone down as has been suggested. The person is in the middle of an attack.
4. Under Texas law, any person could have shot and killed the girl with the knife in her hand. All that is required to protect another person, even a person that is not known to you, is a reasonable belief that had you been in the same situation, deadly force would have been justified. So a person can put themselves in the position of the girl against the car who is trying to fend off the knife attack.
5. Age has no relevance in the justified use of deadly force.
6. I see no way anyone can say the officer made a mistake looking at the facts that he saw however, even if the officer might have been technically wrong if some people‘s opinion, it would still be justified under the law. The Texas law on self-defense (for anyone) or the  use of force by police officer, is a reasonable belief. 
7. The United States Supreme Court in Graham v. Connor said that in viewing force by a police officer, you must place yourself in the position of that officer having to make a split second decision. In Graham the officers used force against a guy who they believe may have just committed an armed robbery and was resisting. As it turned out the person was completely innocent and was having a diabetic crisis. A UNANIMOUS Supreme Court found that the officers use of force was justified even against the innocent person because they had a reason to believe that he was resisting arrest from an armed robbery. They had no way of knowing that he was going into insulin shock and actually needed treatment. In that ruling the Supreme Court said that you have to look through the eyes of the officer who had to make a split second decision and not one made several months later in a judge’s chambers when there is time to look at all the facts. That is why if a person shoots a man in self defense coming at him with a gun and it later turns out that the gun was a toy, it is still justified. The facts are that the person using self-defense was in no danger but there was a reasonable belief of danger when presented with the situation.
8. Also under Texas law, if you claim self-defense or defense of another person, you do not have to prove that self-defense was needed. The state has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the self-defense or defense of another was not needed.

Not having the Love of Jesus Christ in one’s heart will cause an individual to do vile evil acts. Jesus Christ is the answer to this world’s problems period. I would also add the catastrophic failure of parenting that has taken place the last 30 years would be another reason.

Just like the last debate, which is why I'm done debating.  You ignore being proven wrong, you ignore having your sources proven wrong, you ignore having accurate sources provided.  you then deflect by posting one politician's biased observations without addressing the fact that you've been completely proven wrong by real sources (including your own), and then just scream "What did the doctor in my youtube video say?" over and over again, and act like you're somehow being done wrong by not getting an answer to the question.  I provided you with all of the numbers you asked for at the beginning of this thread.  you didn't like them.  your assertion that the death rate in the US has not increased has been entirely disproven.  a biased youtube video is not an accurate rebuttal.  i'm done
 

You’re one of those folks who “deserve” an answer and explanation to every question, no matter how ridiculous, but also deserve to be able to say whatever you want and it’s supposed to be taken as fact, with no questioning allowed.  If someone calls you out, proves you wrong, you just change the subject and demand answers to something unrelated, using it as an excuse to ignore being exposed.   I get it.  Don’t worry about it.  I don’t really need an answer.  I already know it.  I’m done on here.  

It has been compared to the flu probably 1 million times. We know the death rate from the flu or supposedly.
So the same question, how many millions of people a year get the flu and never get reported? I can just about guarantee that I have had the flu at least twice and I never went to the doctor.

Good news! i've finally had the time to look at the Johns Hopkins website (which is more accurate, in your opinion).   you claimed multiple times in this thread that the survival rate for covid was 99.97 (meaning you claimed the death rate is .03).  I asked for a source, you attributed it to Johns Hopkins, then gave me a breitbart article (which is still hilarious) and told me i could do my own research.  The breitbart article didn't even back up your claims.  All that said, here's the link the interactive Case/fatality rate map on Johns Hopkins Website.  You can literally click anywhere in the world, and in every state in the US, and see what their death ratio is.  In the US, from state to state, the death rate is generally anywhere from 1.2-2.7%.  I'm not going to take the time to add up and average out 50 states, but i think it's fair to say you'd see an average fatality rate somewhere around 1.8-1.9%.   Thats in the US, with our top notch healthcare system.  There are places in third world countries with survival rates below 85%.  That is a MASSIVE difference from what you've claimed as fact multiple times, and again, i'm getting these numbers from YOUR source.  So yeah, good times.

Yet again, The governor under state law chapter 418 of the government code has the authority to declare an emergency and to require masks or businesses restricted.    You do not have to agree but it is within the law. When I just cut your statement to, I don’t like the law.
I think the governor for his own political pressure decided to put whether people want to mask on the businesses. It kind of takes the monkey off of his back. But again, it does not matter. That is his lawful decision and he made it. I cannot read his mind but you can feel free to if you wish.
