I don't understand how any of this is relevant. What difference does it make what his profession was or his past history? What if he were a school teacher or garbage collector? It really doesn't matter. United screwed up and should have NEVER used force to remove him. They should have kept increasing their offer until he or someone else accepted it. Had they been on the ball and not allowed him to board to begin with, there would never had been a story. They were incompetent and they are paying for it, and it will cost way more than $800.

Why should the guy get off the plane? On what grounds were they removing him? He had purchased a ticket to board the plane. United had accepted the ticket when they allowed him to board. He wasn't a threat/danger to the flight.  The fault is entirely United's. If they had done this before boarding, it may have been different. There is no excuse whatsoever for this.

I'm with the Freedom Caucus on this one and someone needs to change Trump's twitter login. Trump will need their votes going forward and it was stupid to threaten them for doing what their constituents voted them in to do.

No, it doesn't. I read an article the other day about transabled people. These are people who are amputating limbs because they believe they were born to be disabled. And these people claim it isn't a psychological disorder.

My thoughts on the issue are simple. Taxes, sadly are mandatory. The parents make a choice when they decide to homeschool and they certainly have the right to do so. The consequences of that choice mean you forfeit some of the privileges of paying those taxes. This includes school sports.

I would love to see many things done. My biggest concern by far was the makeup of the SCOTUS.
With my comparison to Hillary however, the bar can be set very low.  To outdo a potential Hillary administration, victory will be achieved if Gorsuch is confirmed. Anything else in the next 3 years and 10 months is dessert.

I was never for Trump. I did not want him to be the nominee for the Republicans and would have likely chosen 15 of the other 16 candidates over him.
But he and all others outclass Hillary.
If Gorsuch gets approved for the SCOTUS, I will call it winning. 
If Trump gets another similar pick to replace a retiring Ginsburg, I will call it game-set-match and a very successful presidential term. 

Just heard that President Trump is considering what I've been advocating for years doing:  He's talking about eliminating the Departments of Education and Energy.  The Dept. of Education was a payoff to the teachers unions for their delegate support when he was running for President.  The budget I heard was 50 BILLION dollars.  They have around 4,500 employees making around 105,000 dollars each.  The Constitution does not allow for this. Each State has an Educational Department.  It's supposed to be a State and local situation.  The Department of Energy was originally to get us off of foreign oil.  That never happened.  So, again, not needed.  It's grown to an enormous size.  No doubt giving good jobs at taxpayer expense, again.

Democrat is Latin for hypocrisy.

The sad thing is people are to lazy or dumb to think for themselves to realize the truth. 

Living outside the states has forced me to work to find reputable news.  I can't sit down and turn on the television and get my news. What I have found is that it is important to get your news from a variety of different sources and come to your own conclusion. There is normally a shred of truth in most reports, sometimes even CNN(very rarely). Compare that to what another source reports and you can start to put the pieces together. This whole Fake News is a new invention by the media to bring people back in from alternative media. They have all been biased for a very long time. True journalism ended with the 24 hour news networks. 

I get what you are saying and mostly agree. I just felt like the reality in the accusation warranted debate. Any reasonable person knows Infowars isn't the most reputable source. 

I am not a Trump defender by any means, but by your standard you have given the man two months to complete his campaign promises. How long did it take for Obama to close down Guantanamo or bring all our troops home from Iraq? If you want to hold one president to those standards, hold them all to that standard.

I'm glad it failed. Just repeal Obamacare and be done. Let free enterprise take over.
