1.
From what I have been told, our O-Line will be 6' 5", 6' 4", 6' 3", 6' 5", & 6' 5" with an average weight pf roughly 270lbs. Again, with the way BF protects the weight and height, this is what I hear from some parents and players. I don't know about you but that's friggin HUGE!
Its the same kids except the center. They we be very big and dominant. On the defensive front Thompson and Shetley are coming back. D.J. Shexneider is also coming back(he is an animal). The secondary is getting hit with graduation but will return Denzlinger and Gizzi. The offensive skilled positions look good also. Doty at qb, Jalali (WR) was really starting to shine at the end of the season. R. St.Clair will return at WB.Two current sophmore WR's coming up to watch are LaCour, AND Nelson. Bertrand rushed for 1300 yds on JV and is a very good replacement for Harmon. He has a lot more break away speed but is not as strong. Wouldn't be surprised to see Matt Desmond moved to RB or WR either. This team will be very good because they will dominate up front. My opinion is next year is our best chance at a real deep run.
 2.

You always hear of the negative, here is a positive.  Had the opportunity to eat lunch by the team today.  These young men represent Beaumont well.  Well behaved and courteous.  Usually when you get as many kids together as they had it is loud and impossible to visit with anyone.  Not with these young men.  You make your school proud.
AS a Mother , I Thank you for the compliment. WE heard many negatives about our Children from other schools. These are very smart,AB honors.
Ya'll definitely have some first class kids. Centrals coach is a class act and expects it from his players. It also says a lot about their parents. They are raising fine young men that will succeed well beyond high school football days. Now for the boys, keep up the good work and kick a little behind this weekend.
 3.
png has 40+ seniors every year.we have close to 200 kids playing football 9-12.next years team will be better than this years by week 10.soph class is strong and i look for a few transfers because of faircloth.cant see 10-0 regular season but wouldnt be surprised if they go 3 or 4 rounds.
Good post! This year was a rebuilding year like NDNFAN91 said. Undefeated don't happen often, you must have a little luck and some breaks along the way to accomplish that. Most folks from PNG have been saying that next years group would be our best team in quite a while. We will have a big dominating line on both sides of the ball. Our current sophmore class is as strong an athletic class as we have had in a while.
 4. The OL is returning except one, most of the defensive front is back. We will get hit in the secondary by graduation. QB is coming back, a couple recievers ( one Jalali was coming on strong at the end of the season). The only reason none of the sophmores played the whole year on varsity was because of unusual number of seniors. I promise a lot of them were good enough to be there. We will be back I am very confident of that. Most who know these kids feel and even felt before this season that Faircloth's second season would be the one to watch.
I hear ya, but tell me how yall allowed 50 something points to Vidor? Who then lost to Nederland. This baffles me cause I am expecting a strong Jags defense. Help me out with this anomaly?
The same way PNG beat a Nederland team that beat Waller who beat Brenham. It doesn't mean anything, its a different game each week.
I know - and that is what we are ready for! Just funny how these games turn out sometimes - and reminds you that they are kids!!
Very True!

 7.
Wow, Campbell still pumping out them rankings :)
Keep on keeping on JAGS and ya'll will prove them wrong again. We are supporting ya'll all the way!
 8. I believe we will be better next season than we were this year. That was a pretty unanimous opinion before this season, we just exceeded all expectations this year. Even our own expectations.
 9. All you can do is wait and see who applies. Speculation is just that, we found out last year. All kind of names were thrown out before applications were accepted (Andy Evans, Alvarez, etc...) and none of them even applied. When it was said and done our hiring committee hired the best man for the job without a doubt and I believe Barbers Hill will do the same. You guys have a quality school district that is very similar to PNG. Good luck in ya'lls search.
 10.
Congrats on a great season, Indians! You guys played have played your hearts out this year and 11-1/District Champs is nothing to be ashamed of.
We are very proud and pleased with our season. Looking forward to next year " The future is so Bright.. well you know  8).
 11.
Well, I must admit, i'm dissapointed. i just knew the NDNs would be their next week. Now, I'm hoping my jags can produce a win. It does feel like last year. I hope the results are better than last year though. NDNs, hold y'alls heads up high. you did put up a fight. 27 21 isn't bad. you'll be there again next year. 20 4a is legit. The jags gotcha back. Great season NDNs, great season!!!!!!
Thanks Jag! Go make us proud, ya'll have what it takes to do it. We're behind ya'll all the way.
 12. First off a big thank you to Coach Faircloth. You have shut up the nay sayers and far exceeded EVERYONES even our expectations. You have shown the boys the right direction and they have taken it. You have taught them more than just X's and O's. You have demanded as much equally out of them in the classroom as well as on the field and it will take these seniors places. You have brought pride back to PNG even amongst the students who could care less about football. To the staff(unsung heroes). No successful HC can do it without a great staff sorrounding him. I have heard great things about each and everyone of you. Like sitting at lunch with students(not even football players) to get to know them. The list of things could go on, but thanks for your efforts. To the players, seniors first. You guys believed and achieved. The hard work all spring and summer has shown. Ya'lls futures are very bright, take the experiences and lessons you have learned and go succeed in life. To the guys returning, keep up the work ethic Coach Faircloth has instilled and we will get even better. Mostly, I hope all the coaches are as happy here as we are to have ya'll. Truly hope to keep each and every one of you for a while. Thanks to all for the run and we will continue it next season. Scalp em.
 13. Lets go Jags, you definitely have what it takes. Keep it alive.
 14. PNG we will be back. A QB, OL, one receiver, wing back, most of defensive front and a JV team of Sophmores that might be one of the most talented classes to come through in a very long time if not of all time.
 15. Thanks for all the kind words. Great game, congrats to Brenham. You guys have a very talented secondary. Thanks to Coach Faircloth, staff and the boys for exceeding EVERYONES expectations. Write it down, we will be back!
 16. Who knows? I like PNG, Ned., Central but Lumberton and LCM had some young talent.
 17.
I wanted to wish you guys good luck I hope you guys smash Brenham. I will miss every game this week as there are some deer up in the Shelby county who Im real mad at. I hope all SETX teams do well this week. Good Luck
Thanks and good luck to you, the letters B&C( yes I'm one of those guys more caught up in inches and scoring than meat) mean as much to me as PNG also but I won't make my road trip to South West Texas until next week.
 18. Google TransStar Houston and check that web site for traffic updates before leaving. It is a good site, updates due to accidents as well as construction. Everyone be safe.
 19.
Not sure about 2 or 3 TD's....I feel PNG will come out on top, but the game will be closer than that....but, then again, there's the weather factor and PNG beat a very good Livingston team in pouring down rain.  Like I've always said, ANYTHING can and WILL happen on any given night in Texas high school football!  Best of luck to both teams...these young men that go out there and entertain us for 48 mins have put forth an extraordinary performance thus far.
Good post, it will be a good game.
 20.

PNG better not be looking toward Angleton next week.. Brenham is no pancake.. I have only seen two PNG games this year, and I gotta admit, they didnt impress me enough to make me believe that they are legit contenders for a state title.. That being said, they are 11-0 so they are clearly doing something right. This is going to a be a lot closer game than some people think. Pulling for PNG in this one. I want to see them and Angleton mix it up next week, but if I am a PNG fan, watchout for the upset. Brenham takes this one.
I made all but 2 games this season and the thing that stands out to me is the fact that we don't turn the ball over.  Coach Faircloth plays fundamental and goes by the book.  Offensively  the scheme is great.  Good balance with the run and the pass , plus other that running the ball , he uses all on the field in the passing game.  Defensively , good size and strength up front, but I think the secondary play is awesome.   Keep up the good work and take it to the cubbies.........
We have turned the ball over some and in the red zone. Doty is going to have to be careful, throwing into triple coverage in the red zone cannot be done this week.
 21. This should be a great game. Brenham has an excellent program and I look forward to seeing this matchup. I'm not sure Thunderlicious isn't a poser from another team just here to stir the pot.
 22.

Also, your own town paper sports editor is the one who said Brenham travels poorly fan wise. He claimed 1,000 to 1,500 fans could be expected from the Brenham side. I really could care less.
I'd be very surprised if that were the case. They filled up their side of the Berry Center in '06 when they played Texas City. Maybe he's poor boying a little bit.
I agree, they had a pretty good crowd against us a few years ago at Reliant Stadium. Great program they have in Brenham. We will be in for a war.
