Argyle is nothing to be scoffed at.  They're 95-9 in the past 7 seasons averaging 15 games played per year.  They've played for a State Championship four out of the past five years.  They do tend to choke in championship games though as they are 1-4 in State Finals losing to Navasota, Wimberley, La Vega, and Newton and beating Fairfield in their only win.

WOS dont lose very often there either. 

Silsbee and PNG will be a good game. I think Silsbee plays as well as their OL allows. 

Jeremy was very good but I think Patrick Reed and Dontre Thomas were just as good!! Dontre may have been the best in just one season. 

I have to go with Boyd, a lil bias here, he gave us fits for 3 years. Glad he's gone.

I'm looking at Legacy's schedule now, where are those top ranked schools? I am also looking at his offers, and I am wondering why we are getting so excited about those schools? Any offer is a big deal, but those offers don't necessarily make Jones the second coming of Jeremy Johnson. Can you imagine if Jeremy Johnson had played his sophomore and junior years at Legacy? He would've been completely untouchable. Johnson is a D1 QB, and Jones hasn't yet proven worthy of that label. You have to take your Silsbee underwear off and look at this objectively. There is nothing at Legacy that has prepared this kid for what he will face on Friday nights this fall. As I stated before, he is the biggest question mark on this team.

Silsbee will be one of the top squads in S.E.T.X. ..! That scrimmage meant notta". Y'all keep talking and you will see.
And I" say Silsbee wins the P.N.G. game with a great showing. 

Frodo I was very pleased with what I saw and the WOS Mustangs was exactly what PNG needed. A team who is mid to late season form to push you in every facet of the game. I was happy with what I saw. Soph QB starting first game had some jitters and a couple of back ups starting on the O line. I like what I saw. Thanks again to the Stangs for giving us exactly what we needed. Always a first class organization to play. Good leadership gives you a good team across the board and thats exactly what WOS is.

Agree with this statement. All the teams in the district will be competitive with each other.

I think hes referring to how contested the playoff spots and DC will be, not how many teams have a shot at winning the region.

I do ! I watch numerous teams play all the time.from Houston to Dallas ND even east texas.ive seen dem play.im not telling that our 5A schools can beat any of those top school. I'm telling u 22--5A are abt equal. ND dey will hav abt 6 teams competing for those 4playoffs spots.if u look at every other district after the first 2 teams the rest of there district are awful .UIL greedy for money.trust me they have some terrible teams out there. 

Mark my words WOS does not give up more than 10 pts a game this year and wins state undefeated...never seen a team this good in a first scrimmage of the year...they are in mid season form for sure 

No. I'm only talking abt with teams in there district. I didn't once say that they beat GR or fosters out of other district. I'm simply saying titans,dogs,indians,jags ,pirates,Raiders will make for an interesting race for the District crown! ! ,

I would agree with this statement.  Hopefully they will improve quickly because your QB, RBs and WRs are all dangerous.  Best thing about today is the coaches on both sides saw what needs to be corrected and can go fix it now.  I don't think there were any major injuries that I saw and that is always good.  Both teams just need to keep working hard and do something to get better every day.

It was also the first test with the new coaches, it won't come over night.

The way Silsbee dominated basketball, WOS does in football. When someone beats them it is an event and in sure the town would celebrate for days. I think it will be very very difficult for Silsbee to beat WOS with the amount of returning starters they have coming back. I do think it will be a close game and if Silsbee could force a few turnovers and get some stops, they will be in it in the 4th. I'm really looking forward to our new offense and new defense. I have always like when schools put their best athletes on defense. That seems to be what WOS does and it works.

What about the offensive line? They only have 1 returning starter, correct? I'm just asking, but do you not think the O-Line will make or break you?
And since I know you're involved on the "Tigernation" thread and I don't want to hi-jack the thread, but do you really think an in-experience front will be able to handle a VERY experienced defending state champ front 7 from WOS? 
As good as those transfers are, they can't do it by themselves.

Wo-so just needs to be ready for Vidor and their injury causing cut blocks that are for some reason allowed I have heard that the mustangs in past years against Vidor in scrimmages have lost players to this.
