Remember, It was WO-S who did not want to play Newton.

This isn't true. WO-S held out for a while on finalizing the two games this realignment cycle because Cornel wanted a home-and-home while Newton wanted a home game and a Saturday game at the Butch. Once Newton agreed to the home and home, the series was announced.

Funny that neither of those were available.  PN-G is in Houston on Saturday.  Lamar of course would not be in action until Saturday.

Wonder if someone got them or if PN-G and Lamar said no.

Lamar said no because of the Saturday game. PN-G said something about not having ticket takers/adequate staffing because they have a Saturday road game.

Thanks for posting, Todd. Those 3 Woodville votes are actually mine. Voted them No. 8 in 3A...think they are the real deal.

Appreciate that! Is there a website to go to in the future to get those stats?

Coaches just email me stats. I'll put the area-wide stat leaders on our website every Saturday evening. But if you're curious about anything in particular, just PM me and I can see if I can help.

Curious to see the Offensive and Defensive stats of this game. Rob I agree with you on the defense. They looked pretty good against WOS last week with a shut out and this week! Hope we can stay healthy. I noticed a couple of key players still hurt on the side line last night. Go Pirates!

Vidor rushed for 505 yards. 232 of those were from Dahlenberg, 152 came from Nunez.

Defensively, Vidor allowed 209 yards (163 rushing, 46 passing)
