And?
I'm kidding.
I have more experience coaching 11-man than 6-man. Nothing has been finalized in regards to my situation but hopefully everything will happen by next week.
Yes, I did resign from High Island before having another job lined up. I did this so the school would have more time to find a quality coach to come in; that's important for me in regards to the kids.
I am excited about the work that we did at High Island where the football program is moving forward.
Coach, the real question is whether the six-man chats will continue??

Very good information in that article. I wish the NCAA/college's were forced to send this information to every recruit as soon as the recruiting process begins. I see no positive, for the recruit, in early verbal commitments.
Another thing I mentioned - and that you touched on - is that there's no system for educating players and families on the process. Most are going through it for the first time so are naturally naive about the risks.

You are correct. I did not.
Does not change the fact that I can verbally commit at any time and it does not mean a thing until I sign my NLI.
That's literally the point...lol

It is risky if you commit as a freshman or sophomore and shut your recruitment process down. I would say commit when you want, but keep your recruitment open and continue the process.
That's a big problem with college baseball recruiting right now. Once a kid commits, his recruiting process typically shuts down. Usually other coaches won't look too much into a hard freshman or sophomore commit.

Not sure why it's risky. The player is under no obligation until he signs the NLI.
You obviously didn't read the story then.

Summer Creek must be paying pretty good and have some great facilities along with a great place to stay for 2 head PA coaches to leave in the same school year...
Coleman already lives in Humble, FWIW

Not sure and doesn't matter. I said I think 3 Tigers should be on there and that's how I see it. Congratulations to all those kids for what they did this season.
Then why comment? Lol. Leaving Jordyn - a first team selection last year - off this year was the hardest decision we made.

Interesting. If Tony get a drafted, then Coach Brown will be burning out too? Hmmmm.
Heard this was a possibility.

I'm curious to know a few things here. Which of these candidates has the most experience? Who has accomplished the most? Which of these guys have head coaching experience? Which of these guys has ties in BISD? Just curious to know.
FYI - Rashanta Leblanc is a candidate for the GIRLS job not the guys, from what I understand.
She applied for the boys job, unless BISD made a mistake.

Here are the applicants for the job.
Feel like I should explain this...these are the list of applicants provided by the district to me after I put in a public information request. Of course it's possible others are in consideration who didn't apply but this is just the list provided by the district.

Is there a list of applicants?
Job closed today. I'll get one as soon as I can.
Are pitch limits necessary in high school softball?
