Clutch 10 inning win for Lamar. They need to sweep this series

Still curious why and include myself in this statement. Why do we debate those with a disdain for reality to push their own disdain for those who don't agree that they hold the morale high ground. You folks and me, at times, would be better off facing the wind to urinate. Carry on with debating the faux superior because my colleagues at the colleges made them what they are and they will not and cannot change.

Midweek win over Sam Houston. LU scores a touchdown in the 2nd but misses the PAT, puts a TD with a 2pt conversion and a field goal in the 7th, and gets a Canadian 1 pt play in the 9th "quarter." Final was 18-9.

myrecordwashorrible reacted to Preach in Silsbee's Joe Sigler to retire..... Silsbee is open
It has truly been a pleasure officiating for Coach Sigler over the years. His professionalism and integrity in the game of high school basketball were evident every time his team stepped on the court. What set him apart was not just his knowledge of the game, but the respect he consistently showed to officials—even in moments where a call was questionable, he never tried to embarrass or demean. He addressed concerns with composure and always maintained the standard of respect.
Coach Sigler also went above and beyond by allowing me to come speak to his team on multiple occasions, giving insight on officiating and teaching the do’s and don’ts from a referee’s perspective. That openness to educate and bridge the gap between coaches, players, and officials is a rare and appreciated quality.
Wishing Coach Sigler a happy and well-deserved retirement. Your legacy of leadership, character, and respect will continue to influence the game and those who play it for years to come.

I did it for 18 years, 2023 was my last year. Do I miss it yes, but lots of parents, kids ruined it for me. It wasn't fun anymore!

Hope this isn’t a security leak. Lol. I love watching this stuff. Please, no liberals. This could trigger a scream at the sky moment. This video shows what a good Houthi looks like….

the misinformation is appalling. The defense of his behavior is appalling. the complete fabrication of what happened to justify that defense is most appalling. A kid murdered another kid for telling him to leave, and possibly grabbing him by the shoulders. Many on the internet blame the victim. It's insane.

Arkansas should have some players arrested. What they did to Missouri has to be considered abuse. That had to be one of the most lopsided 3 game series in SEC history.
For any of you wondering about the above....Arkansas put up 51 runs over the series and did it as the home team. Thus, the 51 runs occurred in only 18 innings of offense as they never batted after the 6th in all 3 games.

Yes they are playing good baseball with a solid record. Simply need to get it going in conference games. Conference record has to get much better. Hopefully the home series vs Nichols will be at least 2 of 3 and hopefully a sweep

Fall in the finale 4-2. Have a midweek game against Arkansas Pune Bluff followed by a home series against Nicholls next weekend. A sweep will be very helpful in keeping the Birds hopes alive of a top 2 seed in order to host in the first round of the conference tournament.

Another walkoff winner. 6-5. Skinner with an oppo line drive to the wall as Evans (fridays night's hero) was off on the pitch from first. That's 11 in a row.

Walk off in bottom of 10 with 2 outs. LU beats Arlington 3-2. LU had several shots at big innings, but pitching held up until the offense came through. WINDY to say the least. Play 2 on Sunday due to pending weather.

Next at Tarleton State for a Tuesday afternoon game.

Conference is #6 overall in RPI. Weakest teams are around 200 RPI with the majority of the teams sitting in the top 100.
On the human polls, specifically NCBWA I saw UTRGV and Lamar had some votes but they are not in top 25. It would be truly nice if we could get two bids because winning the conference tournament will be super difficult this year.

As of today 6 schools are in the top 100 RPI. That's quite impressive.

Lamar wins Saturday game 8-4. Will go for sweep tomorrow. Need to win these games against the weaker opponents because the rest of the conference is very tough this year.

Interesting you keep bringing up financial status of voters. When did the inner city voters get wealthy? Sorry, but the 3rd and 5th wards of Houston have yet to start building those lavish homes that must be coming soon.

Silsbee head coach Michael Nelson with his 300th win.
Also, my grandson Wyatt Davis got to throw out the first pitch tonight. Was a strike right down the middle.
Proud grandpa.
