    I am a college professor.  The 90% you mention is likely low.

    Don't believe everything you read.  They say "no tax increase," but the city/county raises value of your house/property.  Thus, your property taxes total goes up.  The school doesn't change the decimal...  
     
    You might ask, how does this always happen?  This must be a coincidence that your land value goes up every time a bond passes.  Yeah, I am sure that it is...

    His statement may have been a bit foolish, but he was enrolled in Fall classes. He would not have bern eligible otherwise. He should have bern more clear about not being enrolled for the upcoming spring semester. The norm is 9 hours for a graduate student. Not sure if the hour requirement would be lower if graduate at the doctoral level which I assume would be an extreme rarity for a collegiate athlete.
