Nick will be headed to Uvalde to play for Southwest Texas Junior College next year. We are very excited for him to have the chance to play college ball. He worked really hard this year and kept us in some games with the new 3A teams. Nick is joining 7 soccer players that will be playing college ball, giving Bob Hope School our first college signing class of 8!

Seems like they have a legit argument. Also, I don't think they did this intentionally.

Guys, y'all need to realize how blessed you are to have a site like this. The work that goes into getting scores, schedules, providing game threads etc. Not to mention the time spent keeping it going. This is the best site in Texas. Smoaky and the Old Coach (even though good sites) can't hold a candle to setx. What if this site didn't exist?  It seems that people get their feelings hurt to easy these days. Just enjoy the ride. 

It's just too addictive. I was supposed to get back to work 20 minutes ago. 

Bob Hope is your non typical 3A program and we received this award this year for soccer, so it might be branching out more.

I don't bother debating politics or religion, both are debates that never get resolved, but stereotyping all Muslims based on the actions of a few idiots isn't the right way to go. I'll just leave it at that.

Thanks, Coach.  But you are NOT one of the problems.  I would be completely in the dark with regard to Bob Hope sports if it weren't for your diligence.  In fact, I find lately that for the most part, the smaller schools are the most consistent in getting reports in.

We appreciate the comment. It's a work in progress for sure, but Coach Warren is getting them in shape. Coach Broomas is a class act for you guys.

Bob Hope is much improved since the first time we played.   

LCM girls 4 Bob Hope 1. Our girls have also clenched a playoff berth and will be playing for 3rd against Bridge City on Tuesday!!!!

I left Westbury to take the AD job at Bob Hope. That would not be a good game for Hardin, just saying.

Kountze vs East Bernard Girls Basketball Playoffs Preview
I can't control what everyone else does in the market, but I try to make sure the girls get plenty of coverage. I coached select softball with my dad for years and have seen their games get overlooked. Also schedules move around throughout seasons. I'm required to take off Monday and Tuesday during football season. The rest of the year I'm off on Thursday and Friday. This is because I work every weekend. I will say it is MUCH harder to get results from the girls games. There are a select few coaches that text or email their finals in even if we're not covering their game that night. I understand. If yall are ever are looking for a game we are available! Im sure we can work something out. Im glad soccer is growing and so many kids are interested in playing. 

We were 1-19 two years ago. Nick will probably be a first team pick this year. Chris probably second (and he's only a sophomore!). We have been fairly close with Hardin and Kirbyville. Just because we aren't looking great record wise, this team has done more than any other team we've had. We are developing. Next year will be even better.

It was 5. Clinton is a crook.  I don't believe the Democrats would have won running Bernie Sanders, but it would have been closer. At least Sanders told the truth. He was a socialist and would own it. There were no way Sanders voters would vote for Hillary, she's a con artist.

Seeing how 60 years ago an entire race of people was being treated like second class citizens in this country and the Feds stood by and let it happen (or idiots like Goldwater said the Civil Rights Act should be repealed), I don't hold much faith in the Feds protecting civil rights. Good post REBgp.

Bob Hope School's varsity boys soccer team will be entering UIL for the first time this season.  We return 39 players from last year's program that ended the regular season with only one loss. We had already scheduled the state champions Palestine Wildcats, but it now turns out we will be playing the #1 ranked team in the United States, St. Paul's from Covington, Louisiana, at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, on January 30th, 2017.
This will be huge for our program and super exciting for our school!

I would assume they should be a heavy favorite, but for us to go from winning 1 game the entire season two years ago, to the point that we can play at this level and not get run off the floor, it's pretty encouraging.  We'll give em our best shot for sure!
