UIL schedule (Maxprep) shows Newton playing Thursday at 5 pm. That is wrong also, they play Friday at 7:30. pulling for the mustangs, no matter where they play.

WR offense not so good. They were averaging 42 points a game. Give credit to the Newton defense. I think Newton will roll over Waskom and then catch a good Lexington team. I think it is good that Newton got tested.

Gosh, PN-G district champs two years in a row. I thought the object of the game was to win. Seems like PAM and PN-G are doing just that. Good job Nederland. PN-G was out coached. During the Etherege age the PN-G team was built around defense. WO-S and Newton builds their teams around defense. but, what a game it was. Nothing like the band at halftime leaving the field performing the marching eye and playing the PN-G fight song. You can throw all the records out the window, this will be a ball game.
