WhenJosh Foster was QB and we won state. The kid is good in baseball and other sports. If Luke had a good line to protect, he would be awesome. Newton sacked him 6 times last year and was hurried most of the time.

Not taking away from Luke’s performance just showing that there is another QB that is coming on. Luke not only can throw the ball but he has the size,speed and is a honer student. He has the entire package.

Quality of education is what put his outstanding grandfather in the position he is in now.

Newton started a 9th grader at QB this year. He finished with a QB rating of 142.2.

Woodville has 81 more kids in high school than Newton. When Newton run that many kids we had a sophomore team also. You have to get these kids on the field and playing and being coached. I sat in on a before season coaching meeting where all the coaches from Newton agreed what position and level each player should play at. One thing I noticed that they would not move a kid up unless he was good enough to play. A kid sitting on the bench is a waste. Nothing like experience.

They are saying that the football coaches are not developing the players .

Just might be some of these fan coaches are not too far off with the Woodville football program. You might want to look at Woodville's sub varsity scores. Being a large 3A2 team they should have better sub varsity teams. Same goes for Warren. It all starts down there. Example— Newton Jv 50 Woodville 0.
