Newton has one district game left and that is Warren. Trinity beat Warren 49 to 12.

Started running the clock at the start of the second qt. Did not try xtra points after 3 Of the scores, played all the newton sub. Trinity only had 1 first down and that was on a penalty. You do not learn much by playing teams like this.

Cal prep has GS by 17.

Looks like woodville will play the winner of district 9 (Gr. Saline) in round two which should be a good matchup. Pulling for you woodville.

Looks like Newton has clear sailing until the third round of the playoffs where they will probably meet the runner up in district 10. DeKalb defeated Daingerfiend 30 to 28 making Daingerfield the runner up in district 10.

I am going out on a limb and predict woodville will play Arp in bi district and win by 14+ points. Good luck in the playoffs. I think Newton will play W Rust and win by 30+.

I remember years ago when Burkeville player Apple Springs on their field. Apple Springs did not mow their field they mooed it. There was a cow on the field.
