When WO-S gets the center snap corrected, they will be unstoppable. WO-S has something most teams don't have - Heart. They just overcome and refuse to lose. Way to go Mustangs. Best game I have seen in a long time. Kennedale had very little fan support. Only about 200 or so people and I know several of those fans were from our area.

If the same refs are at this game that was at Nederland the titans have nothing to worry about. The replay clearly shows that there was no face mask by Nederland and the penalty resulted in the winning TD for the titans . After the PN-G game they, Mem, will change their mascot to the Titanic's because they will sink.

Wow, Memorial enrollment is 2098 Nederland 1596 PN-G 1447 Vidor 1414 502 more kids in PA than in Nederland. Thank goodness PA got out of the 6A. It stands to reason that PA has a big advantage. Those Nederland refs must to have been at the Vidor game last year.

Good luck in your district EC. You have a good coach and he will bring EC back to the good old days when EC was a tough out. Don't judge your team to harshly, Newton is really that good this year with numerous weapons that can score from anywhere. The bad news for opponents is that Newton gets 25 kids back next year.

Newton fans need to go to Jasper tomorrow at 4:30 and watch the 7th and 8th grade team play. Newton's 7th grade is real good, 8th grade is not so bad either.

They are not playing div.2a-2 Somerville or Hardin. Bridge City would run all over EC. Need I say more.

Wow, Newton does not have a soph. team, so most of the better sophomores moved to the varsity, but the JV has two backs that can fly.

I think I counted something like 25 kids on the varsity that will be back next year and all of them are getting playing time. A lot of them are starter and some of them are sophomores.

Better bring mesquito dope. BC is about like High Island. I remember one year at High Island, W.Sabine was playing High Island and HI was leading by 2 points and W. Sabine's running back broke through the middle of the line on the last play and was uncontested towards the end zone but the mesquitos drug him down at the 5 yard line. HI won the game. GO EAGLES, bring the dope.

Crockett struggled to beat Trinity (30-22), a team picked 5th in a weak district that lost 6 starters on offense and 6 starters on defense and who was 3-7 last year.. Diboll has yet to play a worthy opponent. If you are going to the game please don't leave at half time. If you bring a purple shirt you can move over to the Newton side at half time.

Diboll had a running back with something like 365 yards rushing against Crockett. He will probably do good to get 65 yards against Newton. I think Diboll is a fair team but not in the class with Newton . Newton 45 Diboll 7 I don't think anyone in our district will challenge us this year. How about that kicker from Newton. He is sure a big plus for our team.

So, you are saying the score will be 55 to 17 in favor of Jasper. Only time will tell.

L-T, sure sounded to me like you were knocking Collins, saying this other guy can throw and run. I don't think the coach put his second best qb in as the starter. If the other kid had played and got the same results, which I believe he would have, then you would be wanting to have him replaced. Are you president of the QB club?
