  1. Because I thought he was the better candidate. Doesn’t mean I’m good with him sleeping with my wife or naming my kids after him like the rest of y’all.
  2. I’ve been told that my voice is very pleasing to the feminine ear….. so there’s that.
  3. Here's an update. Trump lost. Get over it.
  4. Nobody "feared" Trump.... he couldn't even hang onto office legally or via violence. They just think Trump is a buffoon and he keeps proving them right.
  5. Well, I've got a few mineral interests, so the bump in oil prices is gonna be kinda nice. And honestly, my net worth has gone up quite a bit because the way that the stock market is moving... not to mention that the value of my real property is at an all-time high and my old truck is worth about 40% more than it was a year ago. Those stimmies hit the spot last year, too. Not having riots all of the time has been pretty cool, too. And I'll be honest, I'd rather have a slacked jawed idiot than a mean spirited shrew most of the time... but that's just a personal preference.
  6. Flores’ camp literally said that the only reason the Texans hired Lovie Smith over him is because Flores had filed suit against the NFL…. So, in fact, he’s the victim again for standing up against racism. [Hidden Content] Dude’s just a disgruntled, entitled piece of crap.
  7. Based on the district picking up Jasper, I think WOS is gonna have their hands full. I picked them to finish 2 or 3. Is it possible for WOS to finish 4th? I doubt it.
  8. On a similar note, Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+ is a really good show.
  9. No... I think that there should be a pool of candidates and the best candidate chosen. I have a job. I'm pretty good at it, but it's entirely possible that I have a female counterpart his is my equal, if not better than me. I also believe that I was the best candidate that was available on the day I got hired. I have no doubt that there ARE plenty of female jurists who are capable of joining those 8 other wise souls, and do so by besting a great number of dudes. I'm not saying that every single dude is better than every single woman in any given field. But to say, "Ok, we're going to exclude 94% of the population who are anything but black women in the name of inclusivity" is dumber than a Monty Python sketch.
  10. Dipping his pen in the company ink, I see. My guess is that ratings are terrible and this gives CNN an excuse to terminate "with cause" and avoid any potential buyouts. JMO>
  11. I guess that’s my problem. I have no problem accepting that most of the time, a guy that’s best able to perform on the field in the defensive secondary will be black. I have no problem recognizing that Christian McCaffrey is an racial anomaly at running back. I fully trust that team is putting the best player possible on the field in order to win games… regardless of their race. But when it comes to qbs and coaches, suddenly the inherent racism of the football world rears its ugly head. I personally thought that Brian Flores must be a pretty good coach. He earned a shot and was turning the team around based on their improving record. I understood that the Tua situation was possibly being mishandled, but apparently Flores was difficult… I guess a good question is whether or not fighting with ownership is a good way to prolong one’s employment, but apparently that doesn’t matter if one has a race card available to throw on a moment’s notice. A racist would have never hired you in the first place.
  12. My man looks like he has trouble picking just one cupcake, TBH.
  13. That brother was passing.
  14. I was eating my cheerios and watching the CBS morning show and they brought on Brian Flores, the recently fired head coach of the Miami Dolphins. For those that don't know, Flores is African American and fired after having a 10-win season in 2021. He was brought on to discuss the multi-million dollar lawsuit that he filed yesterday against the NFL, Dolphins, and pretty much anybody else accusing all of "racism." It's basically the Colin Kapernick lawsuit with the names switched out. If you'd been paying attention you'd know that Flores was a disgruntled employee in Miami who couldn't work with franchise QB Tua Tagovailoa. If you skim the pleadings you'll also realize that the coach had a problem with ownership regarding the direction of the team. He's also included the Broncos org in his lawsuit for not hiring him as well. The NFL, as it puts, is racist. I didn't notice where Flores had problem with the fact that AAs millionaires make up the majority of NFL rosters. I guess he's willing to let that slide.... It's also laughable that of the 9 coaches fired after the season, he was the only one was fired racially, I guess... because the rest weren't black. My scenario is this... if you have a position to fill, you don't want to fill it with friends, family, or anybody closely affiliated to anybody we work with... that person becomes untouchable regardless of their performance. If you hire a client/friend's kid who turns out to be worthless, you can't fire them without damaging your company financially or politically. It's why a lot of companies don't want to publicize their openings. If you have to choose between two candidates and one of which is practically guaranteed to sue you on allegations of racism if it doesn't work out, which one should you hire? This is what happens when you hire people because of their race. It doesn't matter that you hired them in the first place, the fact that you fired them proves you were a racist all along. Now pay up. You can't make this crap up. Race relations are worse now than they've been in my lifetime.
  15. I disagree.... I think it's a poorly though-out plan for "equity" or "justice." It's been decided that the criminal justice system is racist... therefore any person of color who is in trouble hasn't actually done anything wrong, they are a victim of racism. Even if they were convicted of a crime that they committed, their absolution is required to right the wrongs of the past. The only way to keep people from being "victimized" by a racist justice system is it prevent justice from being served. If you can't stop them from stealing, just decriminalize theft... No more racist incarcerations. Get it? The only problem is that the criminal justice system IS a deterrent for a lot of folks. Once that deterrent has been removed by the "progressives," what you have left is lawlessness.
  16. It’s awful quiet in here. The Muldowney argument was one of the best I’ve heard. She was good, no doubt, but not the best. C’mon gentlemen… this should be easy. Why can’t anybody come up with a single instance in which a woman is the quantifiable best in the world at something. I’ll concede that some woman is probably the most nurturing being on the planet, but that’s not exactly something you can objectively score or measure. I’m not saying that women aren’t our equals as beings on this planet. There’s nothing about our Y chromosome that makes us superior to them in terms of rights or standing. I always heard that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link… But now I’m supposed to believe that you somehow make a chain stronger by swapping in a bunch of weaker links just so you can brag “I’ve included links of varying strength.” Unless your goal isn’t to have a strong chain, but rather one that makes weak people feel warm and fuzzy. Does anybody think our military is made stronger (and we all made safer) because we allow transgenders to serve? Is our military stronger when we instead force out Marines with rebel flag tattoos? Is our military somehow stronger when we put women into combat? Only a fool would say yes.
  17. That wasn’t the question. One thing that a woman is the best at. None of us are gonna argue that the Baltimore ravens super bowl champion team with Trent Dilfer at qb was the best ever. Which is the same thing as calling Muldowney the best top fuel driver, ever.
  18. Who was she?
  19. Let’s use the sports analogy. If Jerry Jones says, “you know what would make our team better? Asians! I’m committed to signing two of our 53 roster spots to Asians,” would that make the team better or worse? There aren’t a lot of Dat Nguyens out walking around. The notion that we can choose people to fill positions based on skin color or gender instead of actual accomplishments and somehow end up with a more successful team Is stupid.
  20. I forgot about her.... And I watched Heart Like a Wheel a bunch of times. However, she's nowhere near the best. She had 3 Titles and 18 career wins. That's no small feat.... but Tony Shumacher has 8 Titles and 80 wins. In fact, Muldowney is way down the list. Her name doesn't even appear on the top five winningest top fuel drivers of all time. [Hidden Content] So like I said. I challenge you to find me one quantitative field in which a woman is the best. I'll be waiting.
  21. I haven't heard anything about a civil suit, but i've got the opinion that if the families of the "victims" haven't sued KR already, they definitely would if he made any money from the sale of the rifle.
  22. Actually I've got one of his that I'd be willing to part with if you're really serious. I promise.
