Just shooting straight. No offense, but WOS had a lot working against it. The expectations are through the roof, but pay, facilities, and location are not very desirable… but anything less than an SC is gonna be considered a failure. Add to that a “woke” administration, a fan base that just tried to have a hall of fame coach fired based on charges of racism, and a precarious situation with the TEA and there’s just not a lot to love about the “opportunity.” Hence the handful of retreads who applied…

Ok, I hear where you're coming from.... but the educational side (you know, the basis for which schools exist) brings in many, many, many times more dollars (federal, local, and state), none of which the athletic department can take credit for. My motto is this.... Educators collectively overestimate their worth. They always have, and always will.

Two big differences.... that local refinery makes money and the school just sucks it out of the community. People get rewarded for making it rain. "The high school coach shouldn't make any more than teacher" is a better comparison.

That’s a good question… I think all bets are off on a Biden/Trump rematch in the general. I still don’t think Biden finishes his term… he’s got three years left. I can 100% see him passing the torch to Harris so that she can be the female/black/Asian/hooker President. The only reason I can see the Ds pushing to keep Biden in office throughout his term is because they know that if Harris takes over for Biden mid term she’s all but guaranteed the nomination in 24…. And anybody but Trump beats her walking away in the general. Anybody but Trump would have beaten Biden in ‘20.

There were literally 81 million people who said "anybody but Trump" in 2021. Biden's failures won't push them back to Trump, regardless of what his minions believe.

It's not just about Trump, either... A lot of Trump's supporters (you know, the "america first" guys) won't vote for anybody but Trump. The loss of those votes would likely sink a decent Republican Candidate in the General Election. The fact is that almost every diehard Trump supporter is just that... they support Trump, not America, not conservatism, not Christian values..... just Trump. If Trump runs again, the Dems will win. Write that down.

This, and prioritizing the nuclear family would completely transform the black community... with little to no help required from the rest of the community. I don't think anybody understands that we ALL want to see their community thrive. Unfortunately the answer isn't bigger handouts and rewards for not supporting yourself and your family. Did nothing to quell the BLM riots As you can tell, there are plenty of quantifiable reasons that he was not a good leader besides "mean tweets."
