And to speak further on that topic not just on that situation all Hs coaches need to stop lying to kids you know from day 1 who you want on your team be upfront with these young men because this isn’t like the old days when kids wanted to be part of the team. KIDS WANT TO PLAY & PARENTS WANT THEM TO AS WELL. So you have countless transfers and kids quitting. You cannot carry over 14 kids my number is 13 but your top 8-9 may play with the rest getting blow out minutes. No way on earth can you carry 15+ kids and try to implement that formula in 32 minutes. I told ppl a long time ago kids will quit when they figure out they won’t get playing time some of yalll called me crazy but having been doing summer ball for 10+ years you see it happens every week and it carries over to Hs ball.

Memorial coach called the dogs off after halftime they could’ve easily put up 120 if they pushed it. He elected to get his bench players some clock rarely have I seen that done. Everyone played and what’s more impressive is the starters didn’t complain instead they cheered their teammates on thats huge ...

No knock on Hefner but he will never come close to Weisbod he is the most accomplished player Nederland has ever had .Man I like that kid because he’s very very good but don’t put that label on him it isn’t fair to him. I think this “guy” should go join the circus and become a clown. A wise man once said don’t argue with guys who wear tube socks and loafers, you know the rules TxHoops lolllll...I mean Hs school is cool and all but most of these kids Hefner is playing against will be intramural rec league players . HIGH MAJOR kid if some could comprehend or know what that is , all the real basketball heads know a next level player when they see one.

whoaaaaaa now that’s too much disrespect I think Coach English is a very good coach but don’t discredit Coach Boutte because you feel he’s had and easier ride. I can tell you Coach English has NEVER had to deal with the type of kids Coach Boutte has had over the past 25 years. It looks good from the outside in but unless you know you can’t speak because sometimes it goes beyond basketball at these urban schools. That’s neither here or there they both get the job done both deserve the upmost respect...

I know a guy who would’ve been perfect for United not only would he have them in their right positions but he made great in-game adjustments too!!!!!! to bad he coaches in Temple !!!
