More likely than not. Many Californians are moving to Austin. Plus with McCombs on board and corporate sponsors lined up it is too easy. Oakland does not have the money to help with a new stadium. San Antonio already has the Alamodome to use for a couple of years while they build a new stadium up north. Money wise for the NFL the Raiders can sell higher priced tickets because of the tech boom in Austin and North San Anton. Jerry Jones is the big obstacle especially if the stadium rivals Cowboys, but it would work better for the rest of the league if the will they-won't they situation would be put to bed.

UIL rules will not allow any other school in Houston's district. Houston has 8 which places them as one district with no outside teams forcing Navasota to travel.

Maybe they and Fort Worth Dunbar can meet in the state championship of some sport and just call it the outlaw 4A championship or something like that.

I think Aldine and Cypress districts will be switched. Cypress is just more region III than II. As for the rest does the other Young Men's in Fort Worth have football or will it be basketball only because a 6 team district in DFW 6A does not make sense? And has the decision on San Angelo been decided yet? San Angelo wants in that district, but Amarillo basically said no; San Angelo needs to go towards Austin and San Antonio because of the non-football Tuesday night sports. If they are placed Tascosa may petition down again and will be interesting how UIL rules on that one. It is better than the 10 team a few years ago, but 2 hours to your closest game is not good for academics.

Have a feeling the Browns will give him an unconstitutional punishment for missing the game:

That's her. She averaged 30 last year in an area where girls teams score 40-50 points so it doesn't seem that surprising if a team tries to make them run like east Texas teams do.  Shooting is natural for the area. Scariest part is that 10 miles north of 60 student Lipan is 350 student Brock. Both are at state every year.

If Lipan wins that's why. I saw one of the teams in their district today, Gordon, beat a fellow 1A team that will win their district easily and should go 2 or 3 rounds deep. Lipan will be favored over Gordon by 50.

I am big on Brock but after the Big Sandy game I knew it would not be close. If it is was not for that game I would have said 15, but Big Sandy pushed it to 30, which it was.

Wylie and especially Wall making it to this tournament may be the most impressive thing of the day.

Bucks are a real good young team. They ended the Lakers and they end ours. At the end of the season the streak means nothing. When the playoffs start it takes 4 games to move on to each round. You can go 82-0, but lose 4 of the next 7 and you are done. To start 24-0 overall, 13-0 away, and 6-0 on a road trip takes a lot of heart and fight. The Warriors will be fine in the long run as now the players can rest and not have to deal with the weight of the streak. Last night, the Celtics brought it to us for 58 minutes and it showed tonight with our legs. That's basketball. One loss in December will not ruin the season. Congrats to my Warriors for the run and congrats to the Bucks for ending the run. Also to the Celtics for the fight last night. Now the attempt is for 73, but the ultimate and most important goal is the Larry O'Brien.

Yes it is. The Payout for the Texas Bowl is 50,000 more than the Music City Bowl, so A&M would have made more money and if it was Tech A&M, ESPN would talk this game up more than the current bowl situation. More people, especially in Texas, would watch this game. The TV ratings would have been extraordinary for a non-top 6 bowl game.
Dream matchup for the fans. A&M doesn't want to take the risk. Has nothing to do with the past. The last 2 wins came during the dark period when 90% Tech people were anti-Tech. You may not want to play Tech, but if you want to say We Run This State you have actually beat some good teams from this state. Until then it is more correct to say We Say We Run This State but Will Not Attempt to Prove It.
Finally LSU should be an easier game than A&M.

Warriors and Celtics both refer to fighters and this game showed how big of fighters both teams were.

Harlingen more than likely knew nothing about Silsbee and the type of game that is played in Beaumont. Lufkin understands how the game is played. Yes, Silsbee should still win, especially with the whole team there, but playing Harlingen and Lufkin are two different stories.
