What a game. That is a hard fought game against an excellent team. Hate it came down to a missed call.

I will say that AAW is the first one to shut down Silsbee folk for talking basketball smack during football season (yes, I'm talking to you Badsanta ). Now football season is over so let's focus on hoops and give the Tigers their due. Speaking of, is Devon playing real basketball or video games? These stat lines have been ridiculous!

I feel like I took advantage of you AAW. I knew the perception was going to be this would be a lot closer than Silsbee's other games due to Tuesday's results but that it was more than a little misleading. I am hoping and have every confidence Silsbee should be back in San Antonio this year. Hold on to that $100 because if they are, consider that a donation toward you going and broadcasting the games for us.

It's not a slam on WOS. This is almost the inverse of the football matchup. Silsbee had a good team with plenty of talent (as did BC). Yet both games were beatdowns. In hoops, WOS has not seen a team nearly as good as Silsbee. And there is no way to simulate it in practice. Plus, I have a feeling there will be no overlooking in this game. Even if WOS was 0-3 instead of 3-0, there's going to be a payback attitude from the Tigers if I were guessing. Of course, if the Mustangs can put together some more quarters where they shoot 90% from the field and 100% behind the arc, that will certainly help. But you shouldn't take it as disrespect anymore than Silsbee should have when some of us picked WOS by 40+ on the gridiron...

I wouldn't call it an upset. Going to be a close game and will come down to which team limits their mistakes/turnovers.

Going to be tough. McCain would have a chance but depends on how well he plays in the summer. 4A HS ball doesn't get you in that game.

Defensively, tough to beat Pudge. You're right about that. You are correct I was talking overall. My favorite growing up was Thurman Munson but Bench was the best to me.
