Saw this on CBS evening news.  For those that think the media news is not biased, there was not one word mentioned that this was a racist attack.  I don't think they even mentioned his attackers were black.  Now, imagine if four whites beat up and tortured a special needs black man.  You think the word racist might have been used in the story?  Chicago Police?  Heck, FBI, Obama's Justice Dept, CIA, KGB, Mossad, etc etc.

Silsbee will have faced 3 of the top 10 6A schools before January. Will be a total of 12 state ranked teams Silsbee will have faced in their 19 games played.

11-3 record with all three losses to 6A by a combined 10 points. All 14 games on the road with trips to San Antonio and Fort Bend. Dallas trip for DISD Coca Cola Invitational coming up before Silsbee finally gets their first home game on Jan. 3 against The Woodlands. First 19-20 games of the season on the road.
If that's not a battle tested schedule, then I don't know what one is. Just hope the Tigers can survive this schedule and not get wore out.

I doubt very much whether the market places a priority on impressing you or anyone else.  One of the main reasons the market doubled is because it took a 40% hit just before Obama took office.  Whenever a panic takes place, the market gets considerably oversold but has always rebounded from such declines.  So you can credit a goodly portion of that "double"  to a recovery from a severe recession.  There is no recession from which we haven't recovered, therefore the recovery was going to occur regardless of who occupied the White House.  But if you wish to make it a political conversation, one can say that the reason it recovered was because of Obama or because of a House and Senate that wouldn't allow him to do many of the things he wanted to do.  One more thing, the long term average annual return on stocks is 10%.  If the market doubled in 8 years, the average annual return for those 8 years is 9%.

The U.S. stock market has hit 15 new all time highs since the election and with 45 minutes left in todays trading, if nothing changes, it will hit #16.  I wonder if Russia is manipulating the stock market or if the market reports are, somehow, fake news trying to conceal the effects of global warming?

I have two boys under 2 years old. We struggle every month, living pay check to pay check. We have to monitor our bank account religiously, and sometimes have to go a week without spending hardly anything. Moral of the story, we work very hard to make sure our boys have what they need. We worry about everything else second. I am proud to be poor, because I work my arse off to be poor. And we do not rely on anybody else to maintain our humble living. 
Sad thing is, many others don't have to work hard, they don't have to work at all. Yet, they still have the nerve to complain and criticize the people that pay their way.

Central is a good team & I think they are ranked a bit low in the SETX rankings.
But at the end of the day these recent games tell us the following:
Silsbee is better than Central SA Wagner is better than Silsbee

There are 3,141 counties in the United States.
Trump won 3,084 of them.
Clinton won 57.
There are 62 counties in New York State.
Trump won 46 of them.
Clinton won 16.
Clinton won the popular vote by approx. 1.5 million votes.
In the 5 counties that encompass NYC, (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond & Queens) Clinton received well over 2 million more votes than Trump. (Clinton only won 4 of these counties; Trump won Richmond)
Therefore these 5 counties alone, more than accounted for Clinton winning the popular vote of the entire country.
These 5 counties comprise 319 square miles.
The United States is comprised of 3, 797,000 square miles.
When you have a country that encompasses almost 4 million square miles of territory, it would be ludicrous to even suggest that the vote of those who inhabit a mere 319 square miles should dictate the outcome of a national election.
Large, densely populated Democrat cities (NYC, Chicago, LA, etc) don’t and shouldn’t speak for the rest of our country.

I know this is the day of Trump and different folks ,but why was Ballou's topic moved to college sports and the Lamar vs Oregon and Jase Miguez topics remained under high school sports? I mean, I'm just kinda curious.

I agree with a lot of what you said. But saying Babin inherited a team that Haynes built up?  You mean like not preparing, practicing and trying to win against PNG, Central and Nederland because those games are "not winnable" and he didn't want to get key players hurt? If that is building a team up, then No Thank You.  I'll just stop there because I'd hate for this to turn into a Haynes bashing thread.
