Let me know next time yall go..... I wouldn't mind fishing with ya instead of against ya...
will do.
 2.
A couple of guys went out last night and took 20 of them home but it took about 4 hours.
i was gonna head out there but my buddy wanted to go to rollover.
 3. what an amazing video!  anyone who thinks that soccer is irrelevant in America needs to watch that video.  I'd challenge them to find a more passionate group of fans.
 4. you had a menstral meeting?  sounds terrible.

 6. i might could've made it interesting if i'd fished a worm in the past 10 years.  i missed two good bites early.  if i'd landed them, who knows.  as it is, hippy skunked me 3 fish to 0.  that makes up for the 1-0 shelacking i layed on him when we went flounder fishing awhile back.

Both should be good games to watch.
i'm with you on the germany game, but i'll take mexico to shock the world.
Germany and Argentina.   Messi finally comes out.
you were right, and i was wrong, although messi has had a great tournament, apart from scoring.  Mexico is currently down 3-0.  They got royally screwed on the first goal, which was about 2 miles offsides, but afterwards they've crumbled.  i can't say i haven't enjoyed it a bit, though :)
 8.
Dempsey is 27 and Donovan is 28.  Next world cup they will be past their prime.  The US squandered away their best oppertunity to make some noise in the world cup.
i'm going to respectfully disagree here.  they'll still be at top level at 31-32.  look at bocanegra, demerit, howard, and cherundelo.  all of them are 31, and all of them are better now than they were at 27.
 9. I hear you, Bon, but Spain always has those youngsters, and i'm just excited that our team is getting better and better, and looks to be better in four years than they are today.  in 4 years we'll hopefully have found a left back, and we should have 8 years before we need to replace howard.

 11. i don't know what altidore's deal was today, but i thought he played really well the rest of the tourney.  he didn't find the net, but he was a beast on the ball and held it up well until others could come and support.
 12. As for the US, i was impressed with them throughout the tourney, apart from all the early goals conceded.  I'm proud of our boys, and the future looks bright.  Conceivably every player on our roster that matters will still be young enough to play in the next world cup.  We also have a ton of young talent that could be scary good in 4 years in Fehlhaber, Altidore, Davies, Bradley, Torres, etc etc etc.
 13. i thought this was the first game that Bob Bradley did a poor job of coaching. 1)  Ricardo Clark had no business being on the field.  I actually can't EVER remember seeing him in a game and being impressed.  When I saw him in the lineup, i cringed, and what do you know, a terrible giveaway by him led directly to Ghana's first goal. 2) Benny Fehlhaber had no business being on the bench.  He's as composed as any midfielder the US, and he doesn't give the ball away or give on defense.  When he came in, the US was a much better team. 3) Why take Findley out at halftime?  He actually played quite well in the 1st half.  Jozy looked terrible the ENTIRE game.  Take HIM out at the half.  Findley showed poise, Jozy looked sluggish and lazy. Just my opinions, but they're right.
 14. I'm sick that i'm going to miss watching the US game live tomorrow, but i committed to the SETXsports fishing tourney a long time ago, way before we knew the US would be playing tomorrow.  I'm DVRing it, but it's not quite the same as watching it live.
 15.
Good luck to everyone and have a safe trip.
i heard you're coming as tourney official/cheerleader/topless dancer...
 16. Is anyone actually gonna show up tonight?
 17.

The US will play Ghana on Saturday.  This is a very winnable game for them, so we might see another trip to the quarterfinals.
Gonna be a trackmeet! US better be ready to run like their feets afire and their butts a catchin' !   ;D
i think we'll see findley back in the lineup in arguably the first and only game he should have seen action in.
 18.
I just saw that the "world cup predictor" has England a 54.6% favorite over Germany.  Not sure how they figure that, but i'd say Germany should be about 60% favored.  After all, they are ranked 2 spots higher than England, won their group where England placed second, had a better goal differential and did all that without Klose for more than a game and a half.
they also did it against better competition.  I wouldn't bet on the game, but if you held a gun to my head, I'd definitely pick Germany.  England hasn't really looked that good.
 19. The Rangers went down 4-0 in the 1st, but came back to tie it 5-5, and won on a 2-strike, 2-out single in the bottom of the 9th! The Rangers have won 11 in a row, 7 series in a row, and swept 3 series in a row!
 20. I'll probably make at least one game every two years...  ;D
i have my doubts about italy this year.  they always seem to do well in the Cup, but i'm predicting a poor showing from them.  they went 7-0-3 in qualify, but against a weak group, and only scored more than 2 goals in a game once.  with an anemic offense against weak teams, they're going to have trouble scoring against the best teams in the world, even if their defense can hold opponents to only a goal or two a game.  since they won the world cup in 06, they've slowly dropped in the fifa rankings, and are currently 5th.  don't get me wrong, they have the talent and the pedigree to win it all, but i just don't feel it this time around.
BAM!
Don't hurt your shoulder patting yourself on the back... :P
it hurts, but it's a good hurt :)
 22.
I don't have the answer or the 4th spot on our backline. I can tell you why Spector, Bornstein, Goodson, Gooch, et al SHOULDN'T start much easier than I could choose from them. If it was a video game, I'd just go with a 3-2-3-2 with Clark and Edu as holding mids. Speaking of midfielders, is there any way we can get Feilhaber on the field for the entire 90? Maybe move Dempsey up front so Jozy will have a 4th different strike partner in 4 games?
I'm expecting we'll see Findley back in.  For once, I think his speed will be needed enough to look past his lack of ability.
 23. The US has a very realistic chance of shocking the world and reaching the semis.  They have by far the most favorable draw to get there.  Ghana first, and then if they win that one, the winner of Uruguay and South Korea.  Neither game will be easy, but it's a lot better than having to playing two powerhouses to get there.
 24.
I love it too!!  And did you see Lippi refused to shake the Slovakian coach's hand just like Domenech? And how ironic was it that all the Italians were upset that Slovakia was wasting time by rolling around on the ground... :'( Not a good tourney for the Mediterranean Region.  Greece, Italy, France, and Algeria are all done.  Spain is all that's left.
i commented on lippi on my facebook.  that's okay, though, he'll get his when he gets home.
