  1. Watch out, or she'll VETO you. ;)
  2. They didn't happen to hire Butch Thomas as a financial advisor in the last couple of years, did they??? :)
  3. I'd love for the Horns and Ags to face off. especially in what hasn't been a particularly exciting season for either team. The winner of UT/A&M would feel like they'd actually accomplished something.
  4. :D
  5. Seriously. I heard he asked a cop for a C-note to sign a speeding ticket! :D
  6. I heard he was charging kids at the hospital $20 each to sign their casts... :)
  7. I'm just glad the horns didn't end up with Muschamp.
  8. I enjoyed watching him implode. It bodes very well for the cowboys.
  9. I've shot one spike, but I've only sat a stand 3 times.
  10. Why believe what real people are telling you when you can believe what a biased news source tells you.
  11. I think 630 on the SEC network.
  12. Yup. Even with a win this is going to hurt TCU. I'm not sure how things will play out in the coming weeks, but TCU is running out of chances to impress.
  13. Tcu scores then a 3 and out and a punt return TD and TCU takes the lead!
  14. I wake up from a nap, turn on the TCU Kansas game. TCU is down 10, I can't believe it. Then they score, so I figure they're about to turn it around. Then Kansas has a one play drive to go back up ten, and on the ensuing kickoff the KU kicker comes up with a strip that KU recovers. This is unbelievable. I'm thinking about going back to sleep!
  15. Hmmm. I think I heard their attendance for the games was really good? Maybe I heard wrong?
  16. I work for BISD (I'm on lunch break), and we're one of the higher paying school districts in the immediate area. I've got 9 years experience. $600 a month would represent 20% of my monthly take home. I'm having a hard time seeing that as affordable.

    Ebola!!

I'd still rather not have anyone from infected areas here until either the outbreak dies out, or if they're willing to submit a voluntary quarantine.
  18. as for my insurance, premiums have increased $100 a month for me, despite being switched to a different insurance with higher deductibles and a lesser overall plan.  I have to be honest though, i'm not sure if this is a result of Obamacare, the poor financial practices of my previous school board, or both.
  19. it's still in the development process ;)  but seriously, as soon as it warms up, buddy!  i'm trying to get my bass stock up.
  20. GCMpats just threw up in his mouth a little.
  21. I was on my own and paying my own way at 22 with an education and a career, and had a wife that was doing the same. Now at 31, while neither of us are in a high paying career field, we have a beautiful new house on 13 acres of land, as well as a decent chunk in savings. IT'S REALLY NOT THAT HARD TO DO. I think our country would be well served to better teach young people to manage their money rather than how to qualify for free money.
  22. TCU wins out and they're in. not sure about Baylor.
  23. sippin' on koolaid juice, with her mind on Obama and Obama on her mind1
  24. heck, all those women libbers have the men doing the cheerleading!
  25. Romo looked good. glad to see him moving around fairly well and throwing the ball pretty accurately. it was a bad team, but in the NFL, any win is a good win.
