  1. Block kick effected the whole game. If it doesn't happen we kick another one a minute ago, and at worst we're down 5 right now.
  2. Any romo haters out there still under any illusion that the cowboys are a 4-win team every year without him?
  3. Weeden pretty much too.
  4. SEC! SEC! SEC!
  5. Anyone else watching this trainwreck? Good thing they're playing one of the weaker sunbelt teams :)

    Ebola!!

A patient is low risk until they exhibit symptoms. The problem is that tests can read negative even is the virus is present but still only present in low amounts at the time. The doctor who frolicked around New York, going to the grocery store, riding in cabs, and having fun at the bowling alley didn't think he had it. Until he did. What happens when he starts running a fever while he's out playing around, and then exposes others before he realizes he's sick? What if he becomes ill and has to use a public toilet? Or take a cab home? It's simply irresponsible. I don't see why this chick has no problem living in squalid conditions in Africa, crapping in a hole in the ground and probably sleeping in a tent. But now that she's home, it's too hard on her to stay in the comfort of her own home for three weeks to avoid possibly spreading the virus? She's more about attention and maybe a lawsuit than actually caring about people and their health.
  7. Unless a different criminal was shot and killed by a police officer that I haven't heard about but that has incited the masses again.
  8. A guy fired three shots at an officer, was shot, fell over facing away from the officer, but continued to point the weapon while laying on his side facing away from the officer. I didn't hear that he was shot in the back of the head, but I did hear he was hit several times in the back of the legs as he lay on his side pointing his weapon towards the officer.
  9. He was referencing Michael browns parents, not you. The way that they portrayed him as this great kid who never got in trouble, this perfect kid who was about to go to college. Then we found out he had a juvenile record and was literally just a few minutes removed from a strong arm robbery.
  10. How could we know that. I do know that if my son robbed a store, then broke a cops orbital bone and was shot to death, I would hope people wouldn't loot and rob and riot for "justice" for him.
  11. I didn't see anything in his post at all that sounded like he was saying that...
  12. I disagree with that. Any player wants to get back in. And as good as weeden looked, the coaches should've made that call. No team leader is going to make the choice of staying out if they think they're healthy enough to go in and play.
  13. I got back on here to post this. This looked like the cowboys of years past. Poor pass protection, the defense giving up points when they need the stop, and baffling play calling that everyone in the stadium knows cost you a chance at winning. The way the boys were running the ball they might could've driven all the way down without ever throwing a pass. So lets let our gimpy qb throw three times. Terrible. The only positive is that we're still 6-2, and even if we lose to Arizona we have Jacksonville after that to go at least 7-3.
  14. If he's done, so are the cowboys. If he can't play they'll finish 8-8
  15. Bumgardner is a beast! Hopefully the royals can find a way to win the last two games. The last thing I want is to see the giants win another one.
  16. This is what the cowboys were supposed to look like this season. Lucky to not be down more than they are. Of course, if Murray could hold onto the ball we'd probably be up 4, despite how bad we've looked.

    Ebola!!

I just don't understand the fact that she was selfless enough to risk her life to go help people dying of the virus in Africa, but would then be selfish enough to risk the lives of Americans now that she's back. That said, if the conditions are as terrible as she's making them out to be, that should be remedied.

    Ebola!!

i've seen folks with HIV go to jail for knowingly transmitting it to an unsuspecting partner.  this is kind of like that.  you know you've been exposed to ebola, but the person you cough on in the grocery store line doesn't.

    Ebola!!

sure, let her run free.  but make a law that allows you to prosecute her if she refuses to be responsible and then ends up positive for the disease and exposes others to it.
  20. I'd disagree about them being "hefty fines", but I do agree that they shouldn't be able to enforce them. I also feel like those who CHOOSE not to get health insurance but can't afford their treatments should not be treated at hospitals. dying of a simple medical problem because you're too cheap to get insurance? now THAT'S a hefty fine. consequently, healthcare prices would go down, insurance prices would go down, and many people would benefit if hospitals didn't have to perform so many free procedures.
  21. Sounds like Florida presidential election procedures...

    Ebola!!

they might have a layover somewhere, but there are definitely flights coming to the US from Africa.

    Ebola!!

one of the reasons it spreads so quickly in Africa is that A) health care workers work under poor conditions, without proper equipment and safety measures, and B) they do not have the proper means to handle and dispose of the bodies, which are more infectious than the person was when they were alive.  Ebola is something that we need to be careful with, but not something that should freeze our country in fear.   All that being said, why are we letting daily flights come in from west Africa to our country?  Give anyone there that wants to come back a week to do so, and then freeze flights into the US from those areas until it's under control over there.  keep those who've flown back under observation for three weeks to ensure there are no unknown cases that are going to pop up and cause a panic, and that should be the end of Ebola in the United States until the next outbreak happens.
  24. Clearly the gunshot residue inside of the wound in his hand is evidence of Ofc. Wilson walking up to Brown while he had his hands raised and shooting him in the hand as a means of racism and oppression.
  25. I like the royals, don't like the giants, so it's a no-brainer who I'm rooting for.  but realistically, I don't care much about this series.  it would be nice to see a low-budget, small-market team win one though.
