  1. I understand the law on that, but this is far from clear cut, right? let's say there's 300 people in there. a few start fighting. shots ring out. it spills out into the parking lot. more people start fighting. people get killed. all 300 are not responsible for that, though. I understand that there were a LOT of people fighting, but just because I'm with a group and some of them get in a fight does not make me responsible. now, if I'm with a group that's involved in a home invasion, sure, I'm held responsible for all acts that occur while committing that crime. but if I'm with a large group eating dinner and hanging out, not committing any criminal act, and it goes to crap and a bunch of folks around me start fighting, you mean to tell me that I'm going to be charged with first degree felonies for simply being there? I don't see that working out. A lot of these charges will be dropped completely, and many more will be reduced or pled down. in order to make these charges stick, they're going to have to find a way to prove that they were actually involved in the melee, and not simply in the vicinity. PS: Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not trying to lecture you. I just didn't feel like writing that whole paragraph as a question.
  2. Hardly. I'm a mavs fan. I'll pull for the rockets if the mavs are out because they're a texas team (although i do not extend that to the spurs :) ) but I also enjoy watching GS a lot. A bandwagon fan is the guy who hasn't watched the rockets in years and is now tuning in because they're finding some success again.
  3. One would think not. Of course, he's used to carrying a gun, and if someone is shooting at him and his buddies he might look at it as self-defense.
  4. Anywho, best of luck to the rockets. I'd like to see them pull it out. The good news for me is I'm a Dallas sports fan, thus only a casual rockets fan, and I like GS as well, so no matter what happens, I have a western conference team to root for in the finals without the possibility of being heartbroken if Houston loses.
  5. Paul > who? Just saying.
  6. Could be involved in the violence, or could've just been there. Gonna be tough to determine who did what. Im assuming they're running GSR tests to start, and reviewing surveillance tapes if there are any. There's no way that every person arrested is going to be convicted, or even taken to trial for that matter.
  7. This ain't the clippers. Heck, considering Chris Paul was playing hurt, the clippers weren't the clippers.
  8. GS went up 11 with 2:06 left according to CBS stat tracker. GS then turned the ball over 3 times and missed 3 layups in the last 2 minutes. Hence me saying that they were doing everything they could to give the game away. I can link the stat tracker if you want to look at it.
  9. I posted that while GS was in the process of blowing a big lead in a short amount of time. Regardless of what happened earlier, at that point, GS was in the process of almost blowing a game after building what should've been an insurmountable lead.
  10. That's the series, IMO
  11. The one where GS nearly blew a 9 point lead in the last 1:45 by turning the ball over.
  12. GS doing everything they can to give them a chance
  13. Have you seen curry and Thompson much? They can shoot with 3 hands in their face. And if you get too much pressure, they can drive and pass well too. Gonna be a tough series for the rockets.
  14. Yup. Arguably the best jump shooting team ever.
  15. Rockets better win this one. I don't think there's any way they win 4 of 6 if they lose tonight.
  16. "Fit" is a relative term. There's no way that slightly chubby 30-something Zimmerman is outrunning beanpole teenager Martin.
  17. I personally would continue to conceal mine. The half second i might lose drawing it will be more than made up for by the advantage gained by the criminal not knowing I have it.
  18. Your thoughts?
  19. marching on their behalf, protesting and rioting when police have to deal with one of them, and finding other people to blame for their criminal actions. wait, is that not right?
  20. Definitely agree with this. It makes total sense to let items that the tax payers have already payed for through federal taxes waste away in storage, and then let tax payers buy those same items for law enforcement through local taxes.* *the previous statement is sarcastic.
  21. Speaking of stuff from the pits of hell, what do you think God's opinion would be of you hoping someone getting shot and turned into a quadriplegic would be?
  22. A unicorn just farted somewhere or something. Colemesneilfan1 and I are in agreement about something.
