Proud of the Lions. Sucks they didn’t get out of the 1st round. I don’t get it. I can understand Splendora going bye bye, but getting upset in the 1st round by a 4th seed has gotta sting just a bit.

That may be one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen. From coach Frank Martin: “We’ve changed as adults. We demand less of kids. We make their lives easier instead of preparing them for what life is truly about. We’re the ones that have changed. To blame kids is a cop out.” If you want to blame the community or parents, the coaching or the district, I’m all in. Those kids’ lack of mental toughness is not the issue.

If he’s at least been 4 deep in the playoffs 2x or more as a head coach then great. Otherwise, go find a contender.

Yep. For most it’s not much more than a feel bad instance with a disruption of daily life for a couple weeks. A very close friend and former co-worker in his mid-60’s lost his wife last week to the virus. She was a nurse. Not sure if that’s how she contracted it though.
