Imo, 3 district representatives are sufficient.... That's if somehow they make every district at least 7 teams....

I don't bother going to practices until the pads are on. I will be attending LC-M and WO-S midnight practices Thursday night, then Silsbee Friday morning and a few more Friday evening.
 
No use in watching football practices without any hitting. Get zero feel for a team in helmets and shorts.

I wouldn't sleep on Center and Huffman. If Jasper's pass defense is suspect, these two teams passing games will definitely test the Bulldogs.

I agree. I know those players since I graduated about 2-3 years prior to these games. Ricky Price for Silsbee was one heck of a running back. LC-M's Homer Rhodes was a speedster.

I am always happy for anyone to play at next level and get a free education. But I support the team first and foremost. It takes precedence over any individual accomplishment or accolade. 
 
There are teams full of players who do not get scholarships, I suppose we are to forget about them. :rolleyes:
 
For 95% of the players on our SETX teams, this is the only football career they will have. I see nothing wrong in wanting the team success for those players sake more so than wanting to see DI schollys.

No team will score over 38 points on WO-S this season. NO TEAM!

Why would you put peoples family business on here especially when you don't know it to be fact. sometimes it's better off to just be quiet. Less is often more!!!

I said 95% did not receive scholarships, not that those players and parents did not want them.

95% of the players do no receive scholarships. So if the parents of those kids had the mentality of you, cougar14, and others like you, there would not be enough players to even play the game at the high school level.

Some area schools will don the pads at the stroke of midnight Thursday night. I know LC-M, Vidor, Evadale and Deweyville will be doing midnight madness this year.
