Duncanville boys basketball team has been stripped of its 2022 Class 6A state championship by @uiltexas . The UIL ruled that Duncanville had to forfeit any games that Anthony Black played in because he had been ruled ineligible by UIL.

It's my understanding in this district the point system is for breaking a three way tie then the remaining two go off head to head.

My Ags did better than I thought they would. That drive that OM scored on that had 4 defensive penalties was a killer. That and the fact that our defense gave up 390 yards rushing! SMH Conner looked fine. 331 yards passing and 4 TD's, no turnovers.

Sure glad they got the win despite me not being at the beach doing my thing. But, If they don't win Monday or Tuesday, I may have to rent hotel room in Galveston. Desperate times call for desperate measures!! I hate Galveston!

You saying the Hamshire-Fannett game wasn't tough? Tigers won 35-28, scoring the winning TD with just 2 minutes left in game. That was just a week and 2 days ago. C'mon man!!

Could just continue the pickems thru playoffs and just have an overall winner. It's your gig. I'm good with either of the two tie breakers you mentioned. In the past, Todd always went with total points.

We have had a couple of software updates since the start of this site (Dec. 2005) that caused us to lose some content. I do know that the pickems started in the 2006 season and we never missed a year from that point. But like I said, we lost entire forum content with those software upgrades.

I know for me personally, I have finished with a higher win total before but not real sure it's the highest of all time. For a few years the pickem was strictly a regular season gig. Some years it included the playoffs and here recently it was done as a regular season winner, a playoff winner and a overall (reg and playoffs combined) winner.

Good to see some of us "old timers" (guys been here since the site started) hanging tough against these other, newer members. Mark, you and I may be two of the oldest tenured members left.

Not basketball players? Interesting I expect at least 3 of those 8 players to be starters on the basketball court. Possibly 4 of them. These 8 will make up the bulk of the varsity basketball team. Lot's of playing time.

Ole Miss -2? I would have had them -6. Taking OM to cover. Taking Okie Lite to win Tenn to cover State getting +22.5

I predict the scoring to be lower than what some of you are posting.
