Partly true. PAPF can be signed off on but DEC can still rule ineligible due to moving for athletic purposes. If DEC rules eligible, transfer has to sit out 15 school days before he/she can participate in sports.
-
I agree but even if they are signed off, the DEC can still deny the transfer as moving for athletic purposes. Knowing the makeup of this district, I don't see any transfer of WO-S player to LC-M to be approved by DEC. Again, UIL rarely goes against the local DEC in these matters.
-
This is correct. Robinson has already been denied and he will appeal but don't look for UIL to go against DEC. If any others from WO-S transfer to LC-M, they will be denied as well. LC-M will be better next year, but won't benefit this year.

Yep. That 2007 season was very special for Lumberton. Finished 11-2 with their only losses coming from PN-G in district and Waller in the regionals. Defeated all mighty LaMarque in the playoffs that year. Lumberton gave up less than 14 points a game in that season.
-
You would be wrong in that regard. When Creaduer was head coach and Lumberton went on that 3 year run in the playoffs beating teams like LaMarque, those teams played great defense.

It's official, Anias Smith will miss the rest of the season. Will have surgery to repair ankle.

Word of advice. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

Since I'll still be here in Silsbee and not back at the beach (go back Monday Oct. 3) think I'll make my way up to Jasper for this one.
-
It's not good. Early reports it's season ending. Aggies really will miss him. He's a senior as well.

Back to back wins over top 15 teams. I'll take it no matter how ugly.

If Arky scores another TD, game is over.

Well, to be accurate, if we are strictly talking district games within that span, the record is 7-2 in favor of the Mustangs. -

Didn't say that. But I still don't think they win the game. -

I disagree. Silsbee was and is the better team. -

Well I have come back to Silsbee from the beach for a few days (got some work to do around the house here) so I'm going to make my way up to the press box tonight and check this one out. Might be making a small cameo appearance on the broadcast tonight. Looking forward to a great game.

I tend to agree. Back ups deserve the chance to show themselves. What I don't care for is particular situations like a coach calling timeout with 10 seconds left, leading by 50, just to try and score again. Or running a hurry up offense in the last minute (contrary to what they had been doing) to try and score again. Or going for it on 4th and 15 in their own territory leading by 40+. Or throwing every down, routes to the sidelines, to try and stop the clock under a minute to go leading by 30+. Those type decisions are totally unnecessary. And yes, I have seen these situations with my own eyes. If the backups are running the base offense and the other team just can't stop them, then that's on the other team.

That's the point. He is talking about a youth league game. Why he chose to talk about it in this high school game thread is the question. He never really clarified his first post about it being a youth league game. That's what has confused everyone.
