  1. I do not think the schedule is considered "weak" just not very strong. But they dispose of the weaker teams pretty well (minus the Nederland game). I think this team is as good if not better than Cuero. Carthage? Not so much. Carthage is huge in the trenches. Skill wise, Silsbee is as good, but Carthage is much better on the line on both sides of the ball. Their line will give Silsbee fits both offensively and defensively. This Silsbee team is talented and are playing well. Some breaks go their way can mean a historical season for these Tigers.
  2. Yes 1968 team went 11-0 before losing in quarterfinals 1971 team went 12-0 before losing in quarterfinals Last team to go undefeated in regular season was 2004 team that went 9-0. (a non district game was canceled due to weather)
  3. First time Silsbee has been 9-0 since the 2004 season.
  4. I did not watch. Was on the sidelines at Lumberton game tonight. I'll watch it tomorrow and judge for myself.
  5. 16-13 is pretty darn close to me. Down 7-3 at half. Scoreboard matters

  7. Say what? But a win is a win. But close like I stated.
  8. Teams that I have seen with my own eyes this year, I would rank Lumberton a close 2nd to Silsbee.
  9. I am back in Silsbee for the weekend. I'll be on the sidelines for this one tonight.
  10. Texan Live will be doing the game tonight.
