My point is that's ALL he comments on here. I understand that Nederland is having a down year, but constantly bashing them gets old. I'm not advocating that he always post "rainbows and sunshine" but lighten up a bit. Just seems personal, bitter with always an axe to grind. I agree, the forum is free to comment (within the forum rules) but it doesn't have to ALWAYS be negative. I just noticed that this guy seems to enjoy trashing Nederland. Did it last year when Nederland had a better season. That's all I am saying.

First of all, I am not a proponent of having one high school just for the purpose of athletics. But I was just making a point of how it could be done. There are larger school districts than BISD in the state that have one high school and it's high school isn't necessarily centrally located. Allen ISD comes to mind.

You could make the former Ozen campus a 9th grade campus. Several one high school districts have that set up.

Jasper defense is tough. Shut down HF high scoring offense. (or maybe it's just that HF finally played a good defense) Jasper QB Simmons made enough plays on offense to get the job done tonight. The two botched snaps by HF punting team in 1st Q that gave Jasper very short fields (26 and 19 yard lines) ended up being the difference of the game. Good win for the Bulldogs.

Jasper has a good defense. Offense not so much. HF can't run the ball like they need to so it can open up pass game. HF is finally going against a good defense that can match their speed and athleticism. Right now, Jasper offense is their QB making plays with his feet. I look for HF defense to make adjustments.
