  1. WTB, I've decided you aren't going to be happy with anything I say. I tell you what, I'm going to concede to your great wisdom since you know everything about everything, you are right, you are right, you are right. Now are you going to argue about that too? I have my opinions and you have yours, thankfully I know who's right. I do to, it's WTB who is right in this case.
  2. I will get it started, Gabe. Silsbee Lady Tiger Volleyball will dominate this district. There, now let the talking begin. ;D
  3. Welcome aboard Brooke. Glad to have you here on our site.
  4. Vidor will take this one, 34-20.
  5. I didn't realize I gave you one. I am pretty sure I was talking to WTB. Notice that I quoted his post, that should have clued you in. Oh I forgot, you have a reading comprehension problem, among your other problems. Oh, and you didn't "get me". ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Your a sad sort.
  6. WOW!!!!!! but not suprised
  7. #4 just about blows any credibilty you have right out the window. That's hilarious!
  8. Oh contraire, according to DV, this is big news. Way more important to folks in this area than the Silsbee summer league tourney that actually involved over 160 players and coaches from this area. :
  9. No Walter, I don't have an issue with you. You just have issues. ;D
  10. I thought you knew me. I am disappointed.
  11. Yet you posted on that thread 14 times. Oh, BTW, you and everyone else on this site is limited to what they can say or do on here. Nobody will "do what they want" like you have stated, on this site. All must follow the rules or be subject to the consequences.
  12. I did like Silsbee's chances in 21-3A until I got some bad news on the injury front. Looks like the Tigers will be short a couple of pitchers for this next season.
  13. I for one, never thought Shannon was the caliber of player to be recruited by UT, UH, or A&M. Not even Lamar. But, I think he could play at some jucos or even a Div. II school.
  14. You using the word "ALL" is what I disagree with. Not all Southeast Texans are disillusioned to the state of basketball recruiting. You being so braod with your statements is where we disagree. I know that our area, along with many other areas across this state, have fans of that nature. But that doesn't make the whole area to be that way. You just CHOOSE to lump everyone in the same boat. Which is very funny, because you are always adament about people doing you in the same manner.
  15. I agree DV, except for the part about SE Texas being disillusioned. Shannon needed to take advantage of a couple of opportunities and he chose not to for whatever reasoning, which I don't understand. You are right, there is not a big market for a '5"6 guard who found himself to be at a disadvantage defensively, to put it lightly.
  16. Because you were the only one who was against this even being a thread. If someone else had given a report on the wedding, it would be cool. It's the fact that you change your stripes to accomadate yourself, that's why. Also, you are kidding yourself by saying that more people here wants to here about Perk's wedding over a local basketball tourney that 17 local teams were involved. That's hilarious! We'll see how many views each thread will have by next week. :
  17. No. He had some opportunities to go juco, but he did not pursue them. I am quite confused to his basketball status at this time.
  18. What's the difference? That's funny! The difference is, you were against this thread even existing yet you found the need to talk about it after the fact. Nobody was against the Silsbee Summer league thread. Many folks wanted to hear the details of it. I was asked to by several members to chronicle the games. It was of great interest, as you can tell by the length of the thread. Nobody asked you to give any summary of Perk's wedding. Particularly after your ranting that his wedding should remain private. THAT'S JUST ONE OF THE DIFFERENCES!
  19. Who's angry? I find it hysterically sad.
  20. Here's an example of how screwed up the LISD is about spending the money. It was my understanding that a couple of years ago some good folks there at Lumberton had decided they wanted to donate some money in order to buy a new scoreboard for Radier Stadium. They had raised enough money and had worked out all the details with a scoreboard company to purchase a nice new scoreboard with all the bells and whistles. When they approached the district about doing it, they were told that they could donate the money, but the district would spend it how they see fit. Needless to say, the money was never donated. Now I realize that a scoreboard would be way down on the list of priorities, but if it wasn't going to cost the district a single cent, then why not let these good folks donate the funds to at least get this done? This is just one example of how the district is, IMO, too tight with the money.
  21. I very much agree, spinks. For a person who was so adament about deleting the thread and giving Perk his privacy, he comes on here and talks about it. So lame. Of course everyone knows not to take DV's word on anything.
  22. All Silsbee High School players will report Monday, August 3, so that equipment can be issued to the Varsity and Junior Varsity players at 7:30am. Practice will be from 9am till 10:30am and from 11:15 am till 12:30 pm. Tuesday's practice will be from 9 am till 11am. This sequence will follow through to Friday, August 7. Freshman players will be issued equipment beginning at 9 am. Practice will be from 10 am till 11:30 am. All 9th and 11th grade players must have an updated physical on file.
  23. No doubt what's KING around here!!
  24. Don't forget, they play Silsbee too. But I guess you would want to forget that eventual loss. ;D
