As for PNG and Nederland, it's just shows intelligence that neither school as their homecoming with that game. It sells out anyways. Gives them an opportunity to sell the home side out for another game.

First of all neither schools really have a homecoming, but when they do play each other, it's considered the homecoming game for the home team. For high schools these days, the decision for when homecoming will be is based on the date on the calender, not who the opponent will be. The days of the high school coach determining who the opponent and when homecoming will be is long gone.

According to TCIL, Kelly won 2 titles, '92 and '93. Those titles were won with just 4 teams in the whole classification! 4 TEAMS!!!

On the other hand BC some very talented guys on their offense with plenty of speed and they really spread the field out making containment a must. This game has been high on the "anticipation list" for both sides because it should go a long way in determining the playoff picture for the district. I do think however Silsbee got a break with their schedule by not having to play BC and WOS back to back like the Cards and Stangs have to do. But with that said I don't think most folks, myself included, realized how good OF would turn out this season.
