The Kountze Lions, #1 in this week's SETXsports.com Small school poll, will travel over to Evadale tonight to take on the #5 SETX ranked Rebels at 7:30pm in each team's last game before Christmas break. The Lions (13-4) are coming off a win just last night over Newton, 93-62. Evadale (8-6) defeated 1A rival and state ranked Spurger last Friday night. Tests revealed no blockage and Coach Williams will be released from the hospital Monday (tomorrow). Travis will miss tomorrow night's game against Anahuac but should be back with the team next week for the Woodville tourney as long as things remain okay.
