I still have not been given confirmation on if this happened recently or earlier in the season. Yes, St. Thomas won the last game, but Kelly won the earlier game. Which practice did this person attend?

The problem with having odd numbered teams in a district, is that it forces some of those teams to have off weeks during district play, resulting in someone being forced to have their off week not until week 10. A lot of coaches do not like this and that's why the UIL tries to get districts with even numbers so that this can be eliminated.

Big difference. At practice, you could see what a team maybe preparing for their upcoming game, particularly if it is against your team.

With these "smart phones" these days, a lot can be taken with out a pencil and note pad. I doubt very seriously that a spy would ask questions. Again, I don't believe he was spying, but to say St. Thomas does not have some kind of case, is a mistake.

That is some sort of proof and that's all that should matter to St. Thomas. Kelly may not have sent the guy and had no idea the person was going to do this (which I honestly think this to be the case). But, I imagine many a school has said this in their defense of these actions when brought before a UIL or TAPPS board, be it honest or dishonest, and still had some kind of reprimand or violation brought down on them.

He had no business being there and St. Thomas has to assume that he would go back and give info to Kelly coaches. Like I said, nothing should come of this, but a case can be made.

You guys are forgetting something. North Forest will no longer be a school next year. The school is closing and those students will be moved into other schools. 19-4A will lose a school because of this so actually, 19-4A could take in a Livingston and keep the district numbers the same. 20-4A would be short.

I have been told it is about someone from Kelly spying on a St. Thomas practice. Not sure if it was earlier in the season or just recent. Investigation is underway.

There could be a change in the Dec. 30th game against West Brook. The Sherman Tourney is the 27-29th, not 27-28th. If Silsbee were to make the finals of this tourney (8pm on 29th) that could force them to make changes to the West Brook game which is the next day (Fri. 30th) at 2:30pm. Will update when or if any changes take place.

Sherman, Hype Park, McKinney North, Denison, WF Rider are 4A. I like the fact that Silsbee will get a minimum of 4 games after traveling all that distance(Sherman is just a few miles from Oklahoma border). (very good for this broadcaster who is making the trip)
