The leadoff hitter for WOS, Mitchell can play, HR also. The Dogs' Schelett is on fire and roped the ball. Tyler Smith joined Schelett in the HR department.
Did Zane Anderson actually pitch in this game? I thought he was still playing basketball. WOS has a basketball playoff game tonight. Wouldn't he be practicing with the basketball team yesterday?
game was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was moved to Monday so that the kids (?) who play basketball can do both.
I don't agree with that and wouldn't know of any basketball coach who would. Preparing for a playoff game is much more important than a season opener. That's an unnecessary risk if you ask me. I know that baseball is Zane's sport, but he is also a starter on the basketball team who is in the playoffs. You would think that powers at be would make sure all efforts were to be towards winning that playoff game, instead of getting an inning or two pitched in a season opener and running the risk of getting injured before that playoff game. Don't understand that way of thinking.
 2. Free throw shooting for both teams: Central    4-14        28% CE King    17-27      62% Fouls Central    23 CE King    18
 3.
And also for the record, K. Smith went all out in this game.  I'm sure he was the game high scorer and had several assists and key block shots for the Jags. he put it all on the line and put on a clinic. Can't wait to see him back next year...
Smith did lead Central in scoring, but he also led them in turnovers and putting up wild shots at the end when they should have been working the ball for a better shot. Smith played really well in the 3rd, scoring 11 of his 17, but he failed miserably in the 4th in crunch time.

 5.
Well, the Falcon football kids were in the stands supporting the basketball team, not one varsity football player is on the Falcons varsity basketball team.  Falcons had a very successful season, they have come a long way, 6 wins a year ago to 18 this year and making the playoffs.  I am proud of them. Good luck to HJ, they will be hard to beat.
;)
 6. Because Ozen brought their band with them, there will be no pregame (WAYYYYYYYY TOOO LOUD!!!!) That's all you would hear. I will start the broadcast at a minute till tip, 6:29pm.

Seals-Jones scored 48%(31) of teams points and took 30%(16) of total team shots. Next highest was Hamner who took 14%, 8. According to scouting reports Seals-Jones is the real deal, '6"5 210lbs and only a soph. But, the rest of the team is really no threat. Only two of the bigs really played any significant minutes, Seals-Jones and Vern, '6"8 starting post. Giddings never put any pressure on Sealy, allowed them to walk it up the floor and set up in halfcourt offense. Silsbee will not allow that to happen. Curious to see how they handle full court pressure the entire game.
