7.
Aggie, thanks for proving me wrong again. I owe you a gold star. I meant what I posted the second time. I think they have a 80% chance to go to state but a slim chance to win. I don't know how else to state that my friend. Ira and Collins have done a tremendous job keep this team focused. I just hope they really prepare for the playoffs. I have seen some plays get a little frustrated in the few games I have attended. Things will not all ways go your way in the playoffs.
That's not the only thing you owe me.  ::)
 8.
Aggie didn't I say return to state? I said any team in 3A meaning Region 3. Maybe I should have made that clear. IMO Silsbee won't win state but they CAN get back there. We don't have size to bang with Lubbock or Madison but we can run the heck out of them. Who know what will happen. That's why they play the game right?
No, you did not say "return to state". This is your post: If the same Silsbee team I saw play Kountze, HJ, and West Brook shows up for the playoffs, there is no one in 3A who could beat them. They have some much quickness and that 11 player sub system is hard for a team to play with. The Kountze and HJ players were sucking wind late in these games. If we can get Sealy to run with them, look for Silsbee to roll. You are stating that "no 3A team in the state can beat Silsbee" if they play like they did against Kountze, HJ, ect. That's pretty clear to me.

 10. Good deal. I didn't know if I was going to have to adjust my pickem list of games or not.
No. I'll take the bet. But instead of $100, we should make it $1000.
We are not talking about some kind of clash for clunkers deal right or you tell me as soon as badsanta pay's you that u will pay me right?......
Nope. I got 10 $100 dollar bills in my pocket ready to wager. I always keep a gambling roll in my pocket. Is it a bet?
 14.
Aggie, every year there are teams who may have something to say about Silsbee trying to make a run at state. What I said is "if they play the same way they played against Kountze, HJ, and West Brook, no team in 3A could beat them. Sure Coldsprings, HJ, Cleveland, Mexia, and Sealy would have something to say about that. Will they? Maybe Maybe not. Stop woring about bad karma or another team reading this site and getting fired up. My belief is Silsbee will beat Sealy by 11, Coldsprings by 8, Lorena by 15, and Cleveland by 6 in OT to advance to state. This my opinion Tigervice. I have no need to piggy back off some elses statements. I make my own and stand by them. I understand that some of you believe in superstitions but get over it! Silsbee will be just fine as long as they play smart ball and make free throws.
But you said and I quote, "No team in 3A". Then you only list teams from Region III. The couple of teams I was referring to was Lubbock Estacado, Dallas Madison and Argyle. ;) Those three are a far cry from Kountze. ;)
 15. Any word yet on where this game is being played and when?

 18. To use your words, " I don't want to take your money". ;) Poppa, I am just giving you a hard time. No harm intended. ;D
 19.
Baytown Lee  Friday  8 pm
Lee College or Lee HS?
 20.
Burkeville has already proven many people wrong whats your Comments/predictions?
Okay, I was wrong on the Martinsville game. I'll eat crow for that one. But, Laneville ends this cinderella run by Burkeville. Laneville      67 Burkeville      53
 21. I'm still thinking. ;)
 22. Cool!! JK, if you decide to attend Miss. St. and play football, don't pursue a broadcast meteorology degree. They produce terrible ones over there. They should shut that degree program down.

Not basketball.. Cleveland over HJ, if that match-up even happens
Dogs- Go ahead and tell the real reason I use "mopping the floor".  Who was the author of that term on this board in recent times?
Simuliar to that "take it to the bank" remark. ;) ;D
 24.

Good game........Pitching was good on both sides......Darnell (WOS) threw well for 5 followed by Anderson.....Smith & LaSalle for the Dogs had good outing, Duplant came in late to squash a late rally by the Stangs. The leadoff hitter for WOS, Mitchell can play, HR also. The Dogs' Schelett is on fire and roped the ball. Tyler Smith joined Schelett in the HR department.
Did Zane Anderson actually pitch in this game? I thought he was still playing basketball. WOS has a basketball playoff game tonight. Wouldn't he be practicing with the basketball team yesterday?
game was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was moved to Monday so that the kids (?) who play basketball can do both.
I don't agree with that and wouldn't know of any basketball coach who would. Preparing for a playoff game is much more important than a season opener. That's an unnecessary risk if you ask me. I know that baseball is Zane's sport, but he is also a starter on the basketball team who is in the playoffs. You would think that powers at be would make sure all efforts were to be towards winning that playoff game, instead of getting an inning or two pitched in a season opener and running the risk of getting injured before that playoff game. Don't understand that way of thinking.
