[/quote] Well, if you are speaking of the young man from Irving McArthur who had to play JV for Silsbee this season, he had no choice but to come to Silsbee. His mother sent him on a bus to live with his grandmother who lives in Silsbee. The young man had no place to go.

To my knowledge I only know of one transfer to HJ (Johnson this past season) over the past several years. Don't know where anyone is getting this "multiple" transfers to HJ to play basketball.

Other Juco's do it. Not saying that all or the majority of LSC-PA's players will be set up to go to Lamar, but with the connections the two staffs have, it is safe to say 1-3 players each year will be "pipelined" to LU.
