AMEN BROTHER, AMEN!!! I actually think the forums should be kept at the top a few days after the sport is over, to give a little more look at all district and all state teams plus some season summary talk. I thought it was lame of Kerry to move the girls basketball forum the minute (probably the second ::)) that it's sport had completed. Could have stayed a couple of days for some state tourney talk, wouldn't have hurt anything. Just keep in mind that the boys basketball forum should not be moved down when the clock strikes midnight on March 12th. ;)

It's an inside joke with a friend of mine who coaches at Mexia. He views this board. I picked HJ to win this game. Not at all happy about them losing for many reasons.

I know that some school districts are considering the "pay to play" plan. A student would have to pay a fee (not sure what the fee cost would be) to be able to participate in any extracurricular activity (sports, band, cheerleading, drama, UIL academic competitions) I doubt seriously if this could work, but I know of a couple of local districts that are considering it.

[/quote] It's the one thing I was really concerned about this year with Silsbee and that was defense. That's 10 errors in the last two games. You can have outstanding pitching but commit 5 errors and you will really be hard pressed to win games. Tigers have to get better defensively!
