Silsbee vs PA Lincoln Feb. 1995 at Lamar University
Aggie, I questionyou as well. You hide behind the truth! I know your the most noteable person from Silsbee since Mark Henry, but dont be scared to say something others won't agree with. It may sound stupid sometimes, but your best blogs are the ones where people openly speak their mind. I know I take it out of context sometimes but people like to debate! True Blue is a player hater and I hate player haters. So in return I player hate back on him. All fun and jokes.
I think if you'll look over my posts over the years here, you'll find that lot's of folks don't agree with some of the things I post. Some even consider me controversial. I don't hide at all. Most folks who have any sense know this. ;) -
IMO 1.) DC Stallworth 2.) Kelvin Smith 3.) Earl Bray 4.) Garret Gustafsen 5.) Chris Cunningham 6.) Shawn Prudhomme 7.) David Green 8.) Kristian Smith 9.) Prentice Lane 10.) Dionte Forney
I like this list as well, but I prefer Cunningham over Smith. I truely believe Cunningham is Ned's best player. Prudhomme is the better player than Gus, but I really like Garrett's leadership on the floor.

If Whittaker can have a monster game like I know he is capable of, then Spurger can win this game. They will have to contain #24 somewhat (he'll get his, just can't let him have a monster game). The Pirates will need to hit some 3's to create some space for George down low. They will have to limit turnovers(not totally, just limit) particualry down the stretch when every possesion is meaningful. If Chase can hit a few three's, this will allow him more space to penetrate and dish to George. Laneville has no one to stop George on the low block. Also, Shain and Jarrom will have to play solid defense and Forrest will have to help on the backside rebounding. I can see Spurger winning this game (I am sure hoping for that to happen, great group of coaches and players). But Laneville is very good and it will take a great effort form the Pirates to win this one. Good luck Spurger!!
West Sabine by 15
I wonder where you got that point spread from? ;) -
BTW, based on what I saw at the Kountze tourney, Silsbee takes this one, 8-2.

Is the time of this game still set for 7:30pm? I will be coming up there to do live updates of the game. I want to make sure I don't miss it.
From what I hear the gym is very dark. :-\
Yes indeed. For a 5A school (looks like a college when you drive up) their gym is not all that nice. Silsbee's gym is actually bigger and every other gym (besides West Brook's) has much better lighting. It's okay but for a 5A in the Woodlands, it doesn't seem to fit.

I also have 5 free tickets if anyone wants them. Plus a Cardinal Club parking pass. Section C, row 13, seats 12-16 (aisle seats)
