[/quote] I understand keeping a clock during some of these "game type" scrimmages, but no need to keep score on any scoreboard, it doesn't count. Also, these scrimmages are as much a practice for the officials as it is for the teams.

[/quote] The difference is, UIL and all other football historians count non-district games to a school's and coaches overall record. No mention in the record archives of scrimmage "wins and losses".

It will be Liberty Hill, Brownwood and Gatesville, therefore sending Brownwood to DI.

Word is that current boys head basketball coach at West Hardin, Kully Hoffpauir, is the front runner for the Spurger job. The Spurger ISD board will meet Thursday to make a decision.
