Caloby Issacs has taken an assistant coach position at Big Sandy which leaves the head coach position at Spurger now open. Who gets this job?

Coach Issacs is a good coach and a fantastic person. Wish him all the best with his new position! Now, who gets the Spurger job?

In the UIL's quest for "fairness"(reason why they went to DI & DII districts ::)) they are going to have every region with simular number of schools and it will not matter to the UIL if it forces more travel to some schools. No way the UIL will have one region with just 17 schools in it and another region with 41. Some of these big 5A schools will really have to travel.

A board member convinced some in the minority community of Kountze to vote him/her in to the school board by way of some sort of monetary gain. Correct? Also, "they" (the Kountze minority community) is using a local student athlete as a way of trying to get the school district to promote Joubert to AD. If not, not only would Kountze ISD possibly lose Joubert, this particular student athlete would leave Kountze ISD as well. Correct?
