That's not a good look to have his business out here like this.
Not sure what you mean by your last statement. I mean if I'm in his shoes, I would fill shame that it's being said I'm a 20 year old in High School. He is too old to play sports and wil be 21 going to college as a freshman. sounds like this is a private matter that is being discussed out open forum.

How is his eligibility a "private" matter?

Either qb will do fine  against Tex Coll as they are probably equivalent to a fairly decent 5a squad.  It will be good practice for the young men as they get ready for better competition.  Just glad its not 2012 and tam!!!
Funny u say that...Lamar, if im not mistaken, doesn't have any qb's that played against 5a schools...
Good point.
Young O-line?? Where did you get that info from? Silsbee's offensive line is as seasoned as they get. They have four seniors on the line, with 3 of them 3 year starters. They are considered one of the best lines Silsbee has had in quite some time. They are the strength of this offense this year.
I guess we will see come Friday..  ;)
Well, obviously you have no clue (commenting on the "young O-line of Silsbee) ::), therefore your comments have no credibility. The most accurate statement you have made was the "I guess" comment. ;)
 9.
Now let me get this right...when a kid transfers to Silsbee, the thread is titled "the rich keep getting richer"....BUt when a kid transfers to Houston Yates, its "recr...err transfers".....seems a little slanted to me...Don't you think?  And also...for the record, in order to be considered "the rich" in HS basketball, you must be able to boast a state title or two....Just FYI... ;)
Apples and oranges, but you knew this already. ;) Oh, and HJ and Ozen got there share of transfers this year as well. ;D
 10.
What I mean is I remember when the tigers played Channelview and won their tournament and the smiley games and the 5a tournament in Georgetown and winning the Lufkin pineywood and American  press tournament in lake Charles those were fun times I know time has changed but just wondering
Could it be that those times you are speaking of were when Silsbee was 4A? ::) I have seen the schedule for this year. Silsbee will be playing in the Nederland tourney and Woodville tourney again. They are scheduled to play in the Big Sandy tourney but I was told they are looking to change that to possibly getting back in the YMBL, but not sure if that would happen. The non-district schedule is a little better this year. Coach Sigler getting hired late will keep him from changing the schedule much. I look for the schedule to remain like it is and then next season Joe can schedule how he wants.

 12.
If he turns 20 this Sept. 15th, wouldn't he have been ineligible for this past year's UIL sanctioned activities, ie. football and track?
No. Only if he had turned 19 before Sept 1, 2010. He turned 19 on the 15th of last year, which made him eligible for all athletics last year but not this year.
 13.
Well then its def time to change those stats!!! Silsbee will no longer be owning Cleveland, I know we had a bad season last year but what was our record prior to that?
Record against who? Silsbee? Cleveland's record against Silsbee prior to last year's game: Cleveland  5 wins Silsbee      23 wins ties              2 Cleveland currently has a .160 winning percentage against Silsbee. Silsbee's winning percentage against Cleveland, .770. ;)
 14. The question is, why was this just now becoming an issue? Shouldn't folks involved know about this well before the season started and address this then instead of week 0 of this football season? And I am speaking in more of the parents and JT knowing this, not the coaches. Also, why the reports of him being injured as to why he missed the scrimmages and week 0 game? Was he actually practicing? From what I understood, he never suited up for any practices this season, or did he? Just very confusing to me. It's pretty clear his age made him ineligible, so why the mystery and prolong of revealing this fact?
I picked them to win their district this year. That's better than the 2-8 season they had last year. ;)
winning that district this year dont necessarily make you good!  LOL
So true. But, Jasper will not go 2-8 this year, therefore they are better. Now, how much better remains to be seen. ;)

 21. Hmmmm... Silsbee had 20 more points than Cleveland (27-7), had 201 yards of total offense more than Cleveland (346-145, actually more than double the offense ;)) 7 more first downs (17-10), yet in bimbo's eyes this was a very close game. I was there last year, broadcast the game. I agree, it wasn't a blowout (I personally do not count 27-7 games blowouts) but this game was far from being close. Only thing I saw was that Silsbee had 4 turnovers in that game which allowed Cleveland to "hang around" longer than they should have. BTW, I have Silsbee winning by 18, not 40. ;)

Cleveland by 8
Cleveland had a better team last year than this year and Silsbee won 27-7. Cleveland is not even picked to make the playoffs out of their district (22-3A) Don't let their win over Caney Creek, 37-21, fool you. Caney Creek is terrible, will go 0-10 most likely.
Caney creek will not go 0-10, heck they beat kingwood park last year and then park beat brenham but anyways Cleveland is a much better football team than they were last year...last year they had the ross twins, reed, and richardson but had no identity...this years team does!!...the indian offense was garbage last year and it was 14-7 at half and 21-7 in the 4th before the the qb through a pick 6 to end the game so it wasnt a blow out last year by any means...if silsbee wants to turn the ball over like they did against waltrip the indians will have the offense to take advantage...silsbee is big and good so cleveland has their hands full...im thinking more like 28-24 silsbee!!.....
Well, if you consider 2 turnovers (both fumbles) by Silsbee against Waltrip a major problem, then I see your point. BTW, Silsbee is a +6 in turnover ratio for the year. ;) ;D This will not be a blowout (not sure if a 27-7 win last year is a definition of a blowout ::)) but the Tigers will win this one by 18. ;)
I'm just stating that last years game between these two was alot closer than the score portrayed, once again clevelands offense was pitiful, now that they are moving the ball it should pose for a better game....btw caney creek is way better than waltrip  ;)
Hmmm.. closer than the score indicated. I think these final team stats of that game reflect pretty accurate of a 27-7 Silsbee win. ;) Final team stats                   Cleveland                        Silsbee rushing          30/81 yards                  29/120 yards passing    7-21,64 yds, 1TD, 3int      20-27, 226yds, 1TD total            51/145yds                      56/346 yds FD                    10                                  17 Penalties        3/20 yards                        4/40 yards quarter scoring                       1          2          3        4        tot Cleveland          0          7            0        0        7 Silsbee            14          0            0        13        27 Also, Cleveland passed the ball 21 times in that game. Not familiar with too many veer offenses that do that. ;)
