Did he play  ;D
Are you suggesting that Coach Travis Williams had nothing to do with this win?

Congrats to Travis. Job well done.
I just saw on another site that Stephenville is playing Mexia and not Silsbee. AAW, can you get to the bottom of this?
All I know is that Silsbee was invited to play in the Whataburger Playoff Preview in Fort Worth and that the likely opponent would be Stephenville if Stephenville would agree to play, per the preview directors. There are other teams that Silsbee could possibly play in this preview but the preview organizers were trying to put the best match ups possible, one being Silsbee vs. Stephenville. Silsbee has agreed, not sure if Stephenville has. I have sent a couple of messages, waiting on a reply back.

Updated for district games thru Jan. 30

I contacted Yates to make arrangements with them had the game been played in Houston and hoping they could help in making contact with the facility. Wanted to make sure everything was okay with them. Coach Joubert has told me in the past that I was always welcome to broadcast their games so I wanted to get with the Yates folks first so that everything would be good on both ends. Call it professional courtesy. I just didn't understand how one side of this game had no knowledge of it happening. Like I told you in a private message, I do not know who to believe.

Like I said before the matchup came from somewhere. Why are you so interested or concerned that you felt the need to contact them?  ::)
Because I was making plans to broadcast the game if it happened. I needed to get with the Yates folks to get all the details ironed out. They did not know what I was talking about.

Silsbee had a 26 point lead and still beat HJ.. If anyone thinks Kountze will benefit from playing Yates your crazy! Yates ia better off playing Travis of Bush over in Fort Bend. Kountze should play someone like Central, Silsbee,, or Navasota.
Exactly !!!!!!!!
Kountze was like 3 practices outta football.. id put no stock in HJs win over kountze
and HJ was just three practices out of football. Neither team went to football playoffs.
